Part one of keeping Macclesfield in the league was accomplished by beating Notts on Saturday. Hopefully we complete part 2 by putting Yeovil to the sword on Friday.

If we play a similar team and play the same attacking free flowing football we did Vs Notts I'd expect another decent win. Notts looked to have no fight though so Yeovil maybe a different proposition.

No, we have no fight either. Enjoy your 3 points.

If Notts win tomorrow it could get interesting. I honestly can't see us beating anyone so there's a good chance the pies could get two wins on the bounce.

Mind you, we owe them for nicking our manager this season...not sure if that means we will let them win or do our best to smash 'em.

I think we should let them win; they did us a favour taking Kewelless.

Yet another big day at the bottom with tough games for all three. Macc will probably fancy picking up three points the most, but hopefully Eric just above is right. Although they’ve nothing to play for, Northampton still have a decent squad - do us a favour please boys. And we’re hoping Crewe repeat their performance against us last Saturday and stick a few past Yeovil.

It could well be as you were going into the last three. But if we could close the gap to Macc to a point or even overhaul them today (ok, I’m being optimistic here) then we have Crawley/Grimsby/Swindon, which is possibly the kindest run in of all three.

Pattison and D'almeida in CM for us today which will give us much more impetus going forward. Also Fisher recalled to pair with Seager up front. Already looks more positive than Saturday. Alex have a keeper making his pro debut today, got to test him.

I know 2 games in 4 days means a bit of rotation but Ntambwe starting for us is... "surprising".

Hopefully we exit this today. Recalled Calveley a youth who’s been at Nuneaton onto the bench today and four changes with two games in four days. Stevenage need a win we look quite attacking with that line up so could be a decent game. 0-0 it is then!

Nice to see Crewe making 3 changes from the team that hammered us!

Well i will admit i love winding them up ,probably some of my fellow stags fans think im a dick ,who cares its a football forum ,its all a bit of fun ,nobody, ever gets hurt by me taking the piss,if they do they shouldnt be on here i just hope nutts can just get a bit of hope by doing us a favour against mk ,then after that have thier hope cruelly crushed :woo:

Except when you get upset, start an embarrassing thread apologising to your fellow Stags fans say you’re sorrrrrryyyyy that you get so wound up.

As long as no blatant racists, sexist or homophobic type nonsense is typed then it’s all good. Anything of that nature needs reporting so the person posting it can have some time alone in the quiet corner to reflect on their choices Senor Stag

Absolutely dreadful effort that, so many things to have a dig at Mansfield yet you decide to pick one that doesn’t stick....at all.

Anyway those ‘couple of extra thousand’ are barely helping are they? Considering you know, Notts County being a bit of a basket case.

You are right Conks so much material such an easy target I’ve shown that if nothing else on this forum. Like fishing in a barrel

Despite the fact you decided to ignore my previous post, it’s quite clear you have a obsession with Mansfield yourself. PS Mansfield and County are in the same league, so it’s a bit different to Vale/Stoke.

Whatever your problem is with Mansfield, join the bastard queue :P1:

You’ve just singlehandedly devalued the word Obsession in one sentence

Maybe if the one or 2 (or maybe the same poster) didn’t do so much themselves it wouldn’t be an issue haha.

We’re a good bunch in general, but if folk can’t deal with banter, I don’t really care. Lol

Anyway, we should get back to the promotion thread.

Remember that whole “wrong thread” rubbish you and Costa Del did on here?
Irony and hypocrisy combined

I’ve always been able handle it as you know

Don't worry Notts/Yeovil - our Twitter feed has 3 very positive posts about us going close in the first 12 minutes. It feels like anything negative always gets missed out for some reason. Cue "Goal Northampton" any minute now.

In fact just on that, is any else's Twitter feed like that? If nothing positive to say, just say nothing? I think we'd be top of the league if you judged our games from Twitter.

We get that to a certain extent on our offical club twitter account, however I (and i'm sure most fans) pay far more attention to the Ciderspace account as it's far more balanced (and bitter & twisted)
