Think they said the player is attached to a club as well mate sounds plausible it could be him.
Yeah, he’s the only player that ticks all the boxes, including how many clubs are after him.

Hartlepool apparently have tabled a bid, surely we can match or better their bid with the money we got from Brentford for Henry?

Just from the limited conference football I saw last season the one who would really intrigue me is the lad who was on loan at Sutton Isaac Olaofe. He had some serious pace and would give defenders at this level fits. Think it looks like Millwall have had some enquiries about loaning him as well and would be pretty pleased if we were one of them clubs.

Yeah all quiet on the Vale front. Seems we are taking our time on the fourth striker and left winger we need to complete the squad.

Not sure what’s happening with the trialist midfielder from WBA either as he seems to have a decent pedigree.

Aye by the sound of an interview DC did on Radio Stoke at the start of the week he is likely going to see it out to the end of the window before before bringing anyone in.

Hard to tell with Solanke, DC is extremely guarded when it comes to negotiations etc (rightly) but if he’s been here all summer would imagine something is in the pipeline and he’s young enough to not count against the squad limit.

If it makes you feel any better I did my own digging and it turns out he's not held in high regard, some choice quotes courtesy of Northampton fans 'embarrassing excuse for a keeper', 'Yep utterly useless.' and my personal favourite 'Simply dogs***'
So a good signing then?

I doubt we have any serious chance of landing Tshimanga.

I see the Bolton manager is hoping to land his striker target before their game this weekend. I know at one point they were in for Tshimanga, so it'll be interesting to see who they sign.

It seems lost clubs in league two are still after a striker.

Lionel Messi is out of their reach financially so its probably him.

We've just signed Matty Daly on loan from Huddersfield for the season, another attacking mid, played a few games for Huddersfield last season by the looks of things, even played in the Premier for them, big time baby.
Getting rave reviews the lad on Twitter, seems highly rated by their fans.

We know how that usually goes.

We've signed Romoney Crichlow on loan from Huddersfield. Left back or Left sided centre back. Much needed for balance.

We’ve been busy this week! A decent looking squad coming together. Rumours another 2-3 still to join. What’s the cut off to be in the squad tomorrow? I seem to remember it was contract signed by 12PM on the day before.

We've signed Festus Arthur on loan from Hull. A defender/midfielder - I remember Stockport fans raving about him when he signed for Hull.

Edit: Unconfirmed rumours that we only signed him cos we heard Carlisle were interested.

I must say Mitchell is an absolute bombscare, and I think we’d have stayed up with a decent keeper. Positionally he was rubbish and his kicking was disgraceful. 5 or 10 into touch every match. We actually really tightened up defensively and we had a good back 4 but they were let down.

He’s the worst keeper I’ve seen at the cobblers and only played 42 times because the other keeper was a 17 year old. I hope he’s better for you.

And another one.

Danny Cashman (ex Brighton) signs for Coventry, and is loaned to us for the season.

Think that’s right about the signing, though you don’t have to announce them. We’ve signed/loaned players in the past and only become public knowledge when the team-sheets handed in. Some Rovers fans hoping for similar after a very quiet few weeks, but think it’s unlikely.

Good signing IMO that, heard he was on our list of targets at the start of the summer but looks like we didn't move for him in the end.

We can’t. We can sign perms (free agent’s only) and 1 year loans but no loan fees. The outstanding EFL loan is interest free and only needs to be repaid if a club breaches the restrictions attached to the loan.

At the moment the club are happy to have those restrictions in place and use the £1m loan (I think that’s the amount) for more pressing matters.

Garner only wants a small squad, apparently. 18 and then padded out with youths. I imagine they will see how we go until January and, depending on how we’re doing, either go for it or just keep ticking over until next season.

Tbh, I can’t see how they’ve attracted the quality of player on the premise of ‘just poodling around’ for a season.
