He did not turn us down, the club decided to release him.

His attitude was shocking, particularly at away games. I didnt mind the edge to his game which would sometimes get himself into bust ups with opposition etc, but I did not like his constant mission of pissing off the entire fan base just because he had an altercation with a small section. The whole missing a game through illness then being photo’d at a Chelsea game the next day was a piss take as well.

With his talent, if his attitude wasn’t an issue, he’d be playing in League 1 by now easily. But I fully expect him to be playing in non league by this time next year.

Hence us only giving him the 1 year deal. He really needs to tow the line this season or as you say he's unlikely to get any more league sides going forward.

.Rumour has it we’ve had a bid of a £100,000 accepted by Borehamwood for Kabongo Tishmanga.Probably a load of crap.
And Tyler Burey, attacking midfielder from Millwall on loamn.

I'd love us to try and go for Tishmanga. Good age and has a 1 in 2 goal ratio in non-league. I see Luke Garrad is in charge at Borehamwood. Ex Town player so maybe we can send him some loan players as part of the deal.

half decent manager, but does get on your nerves on the touchline.

Can't sign players for a fee at the moment, though.

Pools sign winger Tyler Burey from Millwall. Played 13 times in the Championship last season. We don't normally play wingers so it's an interesting one.

Apparently (and I'm not totally sure how accurate this is) we can pay fees but are restricted by wages. But you may be able to get around this by offering increased wages in future years.

So for example if a player wanted a 3 year deal on say 3,000 a week you could offer the max in year one (1200 I think it is) and then the values required in years 2 and 3 in order to make up the difference. Not sure the club or any player would go for it, but it is an option nonetheless.

Wonder if DC is gonna try one up front due to our current lack of forwards with either Molyneux or now Burey playing in between midfield and attack, gives us options and it's another body in the squad.

Can only say based on a couple of clips from Conference highlights or off Wikipedia but is Tshimanga actually good enough for this level? From what I can tell he seems a similar type of player to a Devante Rodney. Given how many clubs are in for a forward you’d have thought he’d have been signed by now unless his demands are ridiculous but someone would surely have taken the plunge already.

Just makes me think a lot of clubs will have looked at some of the tape on him and they are not convinced for some reason or other.

If Devante Rodney can make it in League 2 Tshimanga will do very well, I dunno why he's yet to make the step up, might be happy at Boreham Wood, their chairman is a noted prize bell end too so maybe he's holding out for a fat transfer fee, who knows.

The striker we are in talks with has 9 other clubs in for him could be this lad.

I think it's more to do with the fact he'll be on very good wages at Boreham Wood. Some talk that they were holding out for £1m for him (which is ridiculous, but not unbelievable from that club), so he won't be let go of for cheap.

He said today Cullen is fit,but doesn’t sound like he can last 90 mins yet.
I think he’ll go Cullen & Fela uptop,Feath,Gav,Shelton in midfield.
Sterry,Liddle,Byrne,?,Ferguson in a back five.

Yeah if fit Cullen and Fela, but Cullen hasn't had a pre season and has featured in one and a bit games, I can't see him being ready any time soon, so unless we bring in a striker before noon tomorrow we're looking very light up top up Saturday.

Unless Cullen is further on than we think, i can,t see DC risking him.
We,ll find out saturday.

look out for BWs team selection tomorrow night.
if he,s in the squad he,s going nowhere.
if he,s not then who knows.
Not necessarily true. We were playing Joel Randall in all our Friendlies and he started last Saturday only so be sold 48-72 hours later.

An actual signing. Left Back Aidy White, originally at Leeds, most recently of Hearts, with spells at Rotherham, Barnsley and "out of football due to injury (2017-19)" per Wikipedia.

Potentially very useful, if he can stay fit - has been on trial for two weeks so presumably has had a thorough testing in that time.

Good signing for this level if he can stay injury free

Got high hopes for Dave, rough diamond but top scorer last season and has plenty of potential. Can’t wait to see him in the ground as the type that will get fans off their seats with his pace!

He had potential when he was at Pools.
Unfortunaltey,he only seemed to put his brain in gear now & again.
Sounds like he sorted that last season.

We've just signed Matty Daly on loan from Huddersfield for the season, another attacking mid, played a few games for Huddersfield last season by the looks of things, even played in the Premier for them, big time baby.

We are rumoured to be in for this lad, but if they're holding out for £1m then we can ignore that rumour!

Our DoF was apparently down south yesterday meeting with a player and his agent about a possible transfer. One stumbling block is 9 other clubs are in for him.

We have been chasing this lad for 6 weeks. Our Chairman said hes hoping to have some news the start of next week & Fullerton (our DoF) seemingly gets most players he goes for, so heres hoping.

Ludwig Francillette signs for Crawley. 2 years with an option for 1 more.

Young French, very tall centre half who was released by Newcastle u23s. He has been training and playing all pre season.for us and has looked a great prospect.

Good selection in scrabble no matter which 7 you pick.

Any Northampton on here?

Stop signing people. Wait until after Saturday. You know it makes sense.

If it makes you feel any better I did my own digging and it turns out he's not held in high regard, some choice quotes courtesy of Northampton fans 'embarrassing excuse for a keeper', 'Yep utterly useless.' and my personal favourite 'Simply dogs***'

Think they said the player is attached to a club as well mate sounds plausible it could be him.
