Honestly, I think if anyone’s serious about taking him at this late stage of the window then they’re going to have to cough up big time. Cook’s & the clubs ambition is to give it a good go in the 2nd half of the season at trying to get promotion, and selling our best player at this stage in the window would be significantly detrimental to that.Dobra has suitors including Stockport in League one and others in divisions above - club keen not to sell in this window.
Obviously if it’s a championship club (Derby been rumoured all window) that comes knocking, and they start getting close to figures the club would deem acceptable, that’s when you could see Dobra potentially making some noise in terms of wanting to go and you couldn’t blame him for that, which would obviously make it hard to stand in his way & block a potential life changing move like that. Dobs & Cook do have a very strong relationship though, and no matter what happens over these next few days I’m 100% certain there will be no toys being thrown out the pram from either party.
In the mean time I’ll be praying our phone lines go down between now and next Tuesday !!
