Think they’d have known better after us having their pants down with McKirdy!

We've refused to pay tshimanga's release clause, he's apparently Peterborough bound anyways so don't think we stood a chance
If that's the case then I'm actually pleased. I don't want us to be a club that pays over the odds just because we can - it'd only encourage future deals to be bumped up as we're 'that' club.

Plus I think that for the money being rumoured we could do more progressive things with it. If he came at the right price (300k or less in my opinion) then it'd be a good deal, but anything more and you have to look at the player and the facts - he's mid-20s, barely played league football, coming back from a really bad injury and hasn't really proven he's fit enough for 2 games a week (whether that's necessarily a fitness issue or just the manager doesn't fancy him for it, I'm not sure). I'm sure he'd get goals regardless, but at this stage it's just on that tipping point of what I'd personally consider a sensible deal.

Now then Poolies, this day is one of the most important in the club's history, fail to act and what looks inevitable will be nailed on.

At the minimum we need - a left back as cover, centre back, attacking midfielder, a striker

What we'll get - 1 L2 centre half on loan (possibly Odusina) and a 19 year old striker on loan. One of Sterry or Umerah gets sold.

That to me indicates that the release clause is around the 4/500k mark that I'd mentioned a week or so ago.
Yeah, basically that's exactly what it was. I think there was a rule that the attacking team (I might have that wrong) had to hold their breath or something and to prove they were doing that had to chant "Kabbadi, Kabbadi, Kabbadi" I think it was based in India IIRC!

Spot on fish, that was my menu for Saturday mornings as well! Did Kabbadi have it's own show? Surely not, although they show cricket matches for 5 fucking days solid so that could be believable! Gazetta football Italia was a masterpiece, I kind of miss those days, even Soccer AM which was part of later life is puerile drivel these days.
Never really been into Soccer AM but yep Trans World Sport and Gazetta were class. Used to love the NBA round up show that Channel 4 used to have too.

Stockport County.
@Mundo_Sportio El objetivo de Grimsby es Andrew Dallas. Se cree que está en las inmediaciones. El general Hurst ha convencido al jugador. Próximas horas cruciales 8m

Not sure exactly what it says but looks promising for Grimsby. Unsure on the quality of the source or how a random paper in Southern Spain would know?

I like him, potential to be a very good winger/forward. Carries the ball really well, can shoot off either foot and has a few tricks.

Sounds like we’ve got an attacker in the building. Hope it’s not a 12 year old from West Ham or somewhere.

Daily mail reporting that were going after Alfie May from Cheltenham, local lad could help sway it if it's true, would be a fantastic signing, also report were in for Aiden O'brien from Shrewsbury, This one seems the more realistic of the 2 if either were to happen

Apparently Bradford are in for Dallas as well now. Ridiculous. How many strikers do they need?!

Has he been spotted in the Bradford Greggs though?
He's in the Bradford hotel now I'm hearing. Not sure what the food is like there, but I think he has no intention of leaving Solihull, he's just on a food tour of the North.

Are you sure there's not been a bit of confusion?

This came from our forum resident ITK main hotshot, Surrey97. Usually gets everything right.

Where's that come from? Would be amazed if we signed another striker

See my post directly above yours mate. Obviously, it's all to be taken with a pinch of salt but this poster has 100% got some kind of connection with someone at GTFC.
