My lad had his ticket in his hand on the drive here and it flew out of the window on the motorway, now I’ve gotta hope that photo I took of the tickets will be ok for them to let him in.

That happened to me once at Lincoln away. First in the queue waiting for gates to open and my dad handed me my ticket and it. Lee out my hand. Was just expecting to get a verbal thrashing as some old bloke walked around the corner with it. I for one am glad most tickets come as e-tickets these days!

Odusina has gone on loan to Woking. Happy for him as he needs to play games and he's been very unfairly treated here.

Feels like that's being said of a few Bradford players currently. Jake Young, Ryan East, now Odusina. All doesn't seem well at Valley Parade currently.

Why do you think he has been treated unfairly?

He was shocking when he got a chance last season when Critchlow was injured.

The form of Stubbs, Platt and Critchlow for the most part of last season meant there was no way back in the side.

He was going to be 6th choice centre back this season, so best thing all around is to loan him out.

He is still contracted until June 2025, so up to him to go and prove he is worth still being a part of our squad next year.

He was shocking at home to Stockport, agreed, but he was ostracised after that and was never given a chance to redeem himself.

Especially this season when we've gone to a back three (the system he did well in at Hartlepool) and still hasn't had a look in. He should've had a chance over Taylor and Oyegoke when he's played at CB.

Odusina is capable of producing a ricket a match, known as 'doing a Timi' at Pools but has the pace to generally rectify it, in fact it's his biggest attibute, the kid is rapid.

We've given a three year deal to an academy grad. 18 year old forward Cameron Gardner. Scored in pre-season against Boston and came on recently against Barnsley in the pizza cup. Don't think we've ever given more than a two year deal to a youth player before so they must see something in him.

Is he really tall, or are the others just small? Hard to tell from the camera angle. Looks like he's what, 6.1, 6.2 already and he's probably not finished growing.

The others are small because Hurst looks oddly normal sized there, either that or they've scaled him up in Photoshop. The guy second from the right is one of our owners, Andrew Petit, and I never knew he was that small.

Just checked and Neil Woods (the one on the far right) is around 5”11 (says 180cm on Wiki) so I’d guess from that Gardner is around 6”1 ish.

I see Belshaw has joined FGR on an emergency loan. Today then becomes the " Belly " versus " Beefy" derby.

Tbf Belshaw’s been ok, decent handling and a couple of good saves. Problem is the defence & midfield in front of him.

One for the Stags, sounds like Rheady is having to retire. Needs an operation on his neck/spine and thinks it's an injury too far for him.

Old news pal, this was posted on 15th Sept on another thread

Just checked he’s still playing in Conference North for Alfreton!
I was only told last week that Matt Rhead has had to retire due to a neck injury and has played his last game for Alfreton.

He is a very sound keeper and comfortable on the ball, especially at L2 level.. awful in our recent EFL Trophy game though, but id put that down to lack of games.
Exeter fans will tell you that he does get caught out in his 'sweeper' role (both games against them last season!!) and does get beat from long range a little too often

I do wonder how gutted Belshaw was that we didn’t go in for him in the summer. On paper it was the most obvious transfer ever but we signed Port Vale’s number 2 instead

He was our player of the season when we were in L2. I know he is a County fan and still lives in those parts so I thought it was obvious too

Dominic Gape, picked up after leaving Wycombe. Desperately needed help in midfield given Eastmond out until NY.

We had him on trial in the summer. Apparently looked good in the first couple of friendlies and then was never seen again. Dodgy injury record seemed to be a sticking point.

He is good enough for L1 - I suspect we only released him because of his injury record.

Absolute quality on his day, but it’s just keeping him out of the treatment room that’s the problem.

Later in his time with us, he’d spend a long spell out injured, barely last 2 or 3 games, and get crocked again.

Maybe in some cases it was cos we tried to get him back too soon, who knows, but it kept on happening, sadly.

I hope he can get back on track, good player and seems like a decent lad - he was one of the players Gareth Ainsworth picked out as one of his designated leaders on the pitch.

But equally, I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up having to retire early through getting knacked all the time. 100% hope he proves me wrong.

Someone has said turned down a new contract at Wycombe on our forum. Maybe you wanted reduced terms or heavily weighted to playing time.

Yeah, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if we only offered a pay-as-you-play deal or something, and it’s totally understandable why he might turn that down. But if he was only being judged on his playing skill, he’d have walked into a contract elsewhere long since.
