Rumour we’re interested in Tom Nichols
Good player is Tom.
Personally I would rather keep him than Nadesan or Bonne.
It hasn’t really clicked for him this year but to be fair that’s not entirely his fault.
He has been in and out of the side and when he has played the service has been dogshit.
Hope he stays but if he does go he will be a decent signing for anyone in this league.

Like you say " A good player " -- But a striker he's not.

Apparently Oyedele is our 17th loan signing in the last 18 months. 8th so far this season. 4 have gone back, but we're likely to see a couple more coming in going by what Deeney has said. Which means we'll be back to situation we had in the second half of last season where we had more loans then are allowed in a matchday squad.

Pretty shitty rule imo, EFL should be changing it to max 5 in a line up and another 3 on the bench.

They should limit to 4 loan signings at any one time then you wouldn't have that problem, Clubs might actually do some research on the garbage youth lads they bring in just because they play for a premier league reserve team. I've lost count on how many players we have sent back after 6 months never to be seen again

Sounds like someone else has offered him more money. Oh well, that was a nice 5 hours or so when I thought we might be able to get him.
We've offered him the best deal we can but there's at least two clubs who have offered him more and/or play in a higher league so it's up to him.

But the whole system is set up in a way that means Prem clubs are allowed to stockpile the majority of the best youth thanks to EPPP.

So at the very least you should have a loan system that allows the majority to go out on loan and develop at the level of clubs a lot of them are poached from. Only 5 loans allowed per club doesn't seem a lot, especially with match day squads of 18.

If you play Tom Nicholls in the middle as a striker he will score 15 goals a season here.

Gas and us had a habit of playing him as an attacking midfielder or left sided striker. His goals per game went through the floor when that happened. He still contributed for us (don't know about Gas) when this happened just not with goals.

Laurence Maguire extends his loan from Chesterfield until the end of the season.

I would rate him as a pretty good league 2 defender so I'm quite happy with that.

Stockport County.
Great to see another young #highlyrated future superstar join the ranks. Looks like another one is on the way from Man United. All at literally 0 cost to us and with the Joe Lewis money looking set to be spent on advancing the academy to even higher levels even after they beat Oldham 13-0 yesterday.

I'll discuss the "Emerging Talents Programme" at a later date, it would genuinley blow some people on here's minds to be honest, it would need hours of explanation to describe the science behind it.

Man Utd yoofs are top of their PL league - won 11 out of 11.

Our ragbag youth team beat them 2-0 last Tuesday in the FA Youth Cup.

Has there ever been a young player who isn't highly-rated? I'd love to see that press release.

You usually get 1 decent one a season if you're lucky. I fear we've used our only good one up with Louie Barry who will hopefully be back for the last 6-10 games.

No, we've mugged you there mate.

Energetic, hardworking but that's it.

He just cannot control a ball, his feet seem to get tied together in a knot whilst he runs down blind alleys with the ball.

Good luck to him though as he does come across as a geniine niice lad

He played 40 or so games for us as well and I can only agree with the Bradford and Walsall fans.
A decent athlete just really bad at football.

Can’t believe we got a fee for him no matter how little, anyway he goes with my best wishes seems like a nice lad.

Who’s making the transfer decisions for FGR!? Clearly wasn’t the manager!

Probably our DOF, but weirdly the other signing we made this week said Deeney was the one who persuaded him to come.

If it is our DOF he's already proven to be an incompetent clown who should have gone with Horseman. The fact he's still here wasting even more money this month is a joke.

We’ve plucked striker Deon Moore from Isthmian League Lewes. He impressed Morison against his former club. Huge step up from there and his record isn’t exactly screaming out that he’s at the wrong level. We can but hope the new manager has spotted a (very) hidden gem.
