Dipo Akinyime not in the York squad sounds like he's gone listening to there manager talk.Seen us and Chesterfield linked to him only possible way it could be us is if DJ or Cleary are being moved on or both.
Their owner said he wasn’t on his way. I’d be pleased with him here but think we’ve signed Mellon.

Rumours of Jamie Walker going to Rotherham, Morecambe or Carlisle. According to one of our forums. Think Carlisle would be the best move for him.
Would wish him all the best, always liked him but he’s just not looked the same for whatever reason this season. His foul throw at the end of the Barrow game just about summed it up, in a good position for one last attack and just does something so lazy and walks off.

I just don’t think Jamie Walker is what we need. He’s a winger or a 10 isn’t he?

We have other positions that need more urgent attention. Right back, centre back, defensive mid and striker.

I fear we’re going down the sign as many players we possibly can and hope for the best route.

Think he wanted away in the summer?

He can play deeper. He's got the battling qualities you'd want in a fight to stay up. Brings some goals too. Bit injury prone though.

Stockport County.
Dipo has started following our socials could be coming here then
Surely Walsall have got to start having an eye on League One? They won't admit it but it's the logical thing for them.

Signing shit from York City would be bizarre. Especially as they probably won't have that Lowe next season.

He'd probably be back up here mate anyway at the moment seems he's had League one interest as well in the recent past .

Alan Nixon is saying we are trying to get Stephen Wearne from MK Dons.

Good player, but i dread to think how much MK Dons will get us to stump up for him if they agree to sell.

I’m starting to think we should just accept our fate and rebuild in the summer ahead of the conference rather than sign a load of players for a terrible team and shatter their confidence.

How did you manage to get into the playoffs last season? You had shit manager, shit coaches and shit players.

Anyway Crawley are in for him as well. If he’s got any sense he’ll go there.

Hearing it's Wycombe and Bolton that want him.

We have an option for an extra year on his contract, so no real huge drama as of yet if true.

I imagine a lot of our lads will be holding out till we know what league we are in next year to decide if they want to extend or not.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
Carlisle I’ve heard throwing sh*triads at it this January, but could do with 3 new centre backs if going to persist with this ‘style’ none of them currently can play it

I’d say we need to bring in at least two centre backs, a right and left full back, another midfielder, probably two wingers and also two strikers.

 So a complete new team then?

I agree. But it ain’t going to happen. 3 or 4 more Williamson said he wants.

It won’t save us. I think we need to seriously consider sticking, getting through till May, then a complete rebuild for the national league season where we’ll hopefully challenge to bounce back.

At the moment we’re just panicking like we did last January. It’s too little too late and too much to ask for a new group of players to hit the ground running. All we’ll do is shatter the confidence of another batch of players.

I’d personally see if Rotherham want to offload Steve Evan’s for nothing and then give him the budget Williamson is getting.

Hate the guy but he’d get it turned around with this budget

Being linked with Regan Linney. I very much doubt that one's got anything to it.

Why not? He’s a striker isn’t he? A goal scorer?

Surely that’s what they are looking for.
14 goals and 5 assists in 23 games this season. But he just signed an extension in November. Also, he plays as a wide forward, in pretty much the position it looks like we've signed Embleton to fill.

So he’s a supplier as well

Aye. I'd take him, don't get me wrong. I just don't know that there's anything in this one, unlike the Embleton and Whelan reports from last week which were more solid - in particular the last one. Saying that, I'll be surprised if there isn't an attacking signing and a fullback/wingback through the door this week.
