Orient have swooped in for Colchester's Gavin Massey for an undisclosed fee.

Orient needed a right winger and this looks to be an excellent signing.

Crawley have signed left-back/winger Chris Arthur. He's been with us for the last two seasons. Took a lot of stick from our fans, most of it justified, but did have some good games. Isn't good enough for League Two. Crawley are going to struggle. Good luck.

Can't believe he's found a league club. One of the worst players I've ever seen for us.

We've been linked with goalkeeper Christian Walton on loan from Brighton, whilst Jones is keeping tabs on the availability of Jonathan Mitchell who impressed when he came in when Tyler departed.

Seems he can play in midfield too. So wether or not Hurst has him in mind as first choice LB or a good versatile option (much like East) remains to be seen.

Nice to finally see a signing.

Your last game was less than 3 weeks ago, how quickly were you expecting to sign people?!

We very rarely try and sign people up that early - maybe a couple of youngsters released from Prem clubs. Bigger signings don't come until mid-July at the earliest!

I noticed a Barnsley fan a couple of weeks ago mentioning Massey as a target along with Moncur on Twitter, but that's all I've heard/seen. He has also tweeted a YouTube showreel of some of his goals a couple of times too, read into that what you will! First I've seen Orient mentioned though.
Now we've signed him! Always thought he was one of your better players myself.

Labadie: Excellent signing for Newport, always imagined him going to a team with play off potential. Tackling is such an overstated quality... It's not even a quality really, he pressures the carrier well to force the mistake, can drive the team forward, linked up well with Dunne for Daggers... I like him. Would certainly have taken him over Hemmings if we're scrapping for ex Daggers!

Deverdics: When I've seen him for Dover this season he's been excellent, made things happen, really looked very good. Probably their third best player behind Raggett and Payne. But as has been said his Barnet spell wasn't exactly great.

Massey: yeah I'll take him, decent League One winger, think people have gone a bit OTT about him.

And for the record I'm debating placing a bet on Carlisle to win the league. Devitt is such a good signings, Adams is a good signing... Me likey!

Fuck me he scored more goals than any of our strikers last season in 46 games :ffs:

Have you still got another year of Garry Thompson? My condolences

I've been shocked by how well we've done so far, so much so that I've stuck a tenner on us for promotion. Adams and Devitt are two of the best in the league for their position, Devitt especially is a really exciting signing and one I was assuming would find a League 1 club given how many assists he managed in a pretty poor team.

Curle seems to have identified our weaknesses last season - namely a lack of goals once we'd tightened up defence - and gone about fixing them early on. This leaves us with an already quite well rounded team, even before we sign another 5 or so players.

Gillespie
Miller - Atkinson - Ellis - Grainger
Kennedy - Joyce
Lambe - Devitt - Adams
Ibehre

That's a strong team on paper, and we've got McQueen, Brough, Raynes, McKee, Penn and Wyke as well as any further signings we make. Next season is starting to shape up very nicely for us I feel.

He scored an absolutely banging goal against us early in the season and I thought he was pretty damn good - is he actually a bit shit then?

He blows hot and cold but I really liked Massey, sorry to see him go as I think he'd have been (will be) excellent in League Two. He does a lot of the donkey work that can go unnoticed at the back, his work ethic is second to none and when he isn't in the side you really miss how much tracking back he does.

Has a lot of pace but can often seem frightened to take his full back on. When he does, he looks excellent as he did when he tore Doncaster apart at Easter. Never seems too clever in front of goal but still manages to chip in with his fair share. He can be a decent League One winger on his day, so it's a good signing in League Two.

Last season he started off brightly but picked up an injury, and was never quite right after that - I think his confidence took a bit of a hit. Started to come alive again towards the end of the season though.

Labadie isn't consistent, which is why he's been at lower league 2 sides for some time. There's s good player in there, he just doesn't show it often enough

Jordan Bowery would be a good signing for anyone at League Two level, I think it was his wages that put Oxford off signing him on a longer deal wasn't it? Either way he'll go to a promotion chasing side.

Well we've got about 14 players to sign realistically and our season tickets go on sale on Monday, so it's nice to get something kick started.

Doncaster Rovers linked with season long loan for Keshi Anderson from Crystal Palace.
Was on loan last year until he broke his leg.
Would absolutely destroy this league!

Thought Donny were already doing that? This season's Barceluton, methinks. Doncelona?

We are getting our business done early for once and the intent is promotion but the jury is still out on Fergie with most of our fans.

He would get his leg broken again in this league. I think you are in for a shock if you expect teams to actually play "football".

I know I watched a few games last year, a lot of long ball football, big man up top. We've signed some experienced League 2 players though which should help. I think we will stay near top of league all season but it will come down to last game where we finish
