I like the look of Bogle, score shedloads for Solihull and you took a chance on him. He could do what Matty Taylor did last season in his first league season, he certainly has the raw qualities.
The progression from him just from this first season has been excellent, the Bogle now compared to the Bogle in October are like completely different players.

If he starts well in L2 watch the vultures start to circle. What contract is he on?

The Chambers signing smacks very much of the Marcus Marshall signing last season.

An ex-player who didn't make that much of an impression in his first spell here, brought back in a couple of seasons later. Marshall started pre-season ok but then went well off the boil (until Braintree away) so lets hope that Chambers starts off well and carries it on into the season.

However, if not, I look forward to him doing fuck all throughout the season only to pop up with a vital cameo as we win the play offs.

Well it appears Harry Davis is being shipped out to an unsuspecting League One club, can't say I'm disappointed at all.
Saw Walsall rumoured when I had a look on twitter. If he can stay fit(and with him being away from his useless father), then I don't think he'd be a bad signing for them, especially as a free pick up. God I hope this comes off.

Wow, has he recently signed an extension or did you give him a 3 year deal when you signed him?
A 3 year deal as we paid a fee so didn't want to risk losing him after a year.

Fair play, glad its working out. We have been sticking to 1-2 year contracts but risk losing Taylor for nothing because of it

I too hope it comes off, unfit, overpaid, not the leader Davis Snr thinks he is. For his wages we could get two competent signings in the side so I'm all for it. We wouldn't necessarily miss him either.

Still think a fourth CB could come in later on in the window, perhaps on loan, and it wouldn't surprise me if it was Ajayi.

Echo the above. Very good League 2 centre-back, and a nice guy too.

Wasn't great in a short loan spell for us last season. Kicking is generally poor however he made a couple of decent saves. Given the game time he could be a decent keeper.
Well he was called up for the England U21s 3 months ago, so he can't be that bad! How many England age group internationals are there in EFL2?

It's no surprise our form improved when kareligh Osbourne became injured. A decent enough centre back though.

In a rumours thread on a Pompey board there was talk of our ex left back Dan Butler joining Exeter. Left Torquay at the end of last season.

Signed Alex Rodman and you can all keep any opinions of him to yourself because I couldn't care less but let me tell you, he's quite the dreamboat isn't he. I can see why we didn't sign Sheehan now because with those two linking up on the wing, ovaries would've been exploding in the Pavis.

Can't see it myself. Maybe because he's slightly boss-eyed?

Apparently we're on the brink of signing Accrington striker Billy Kee.

He any good?

That's bollocks I'm afraid mate. Matt Green will be the last striker we sign in this window and I've heard that from a very good source tonight.

Curle said after the opener last season that he liked Green, thinks he has good attributes for this level etc. We enquired about him in January but for whatever reason it didn't materialise. We've now had an offer accepted by Mansfield and have held talks with the player. The deal should be announced next week barring any hiccups.

Matt Green? For real? That thing I heard about Kee was obviously someone just on the wind up, are you serious about Green though?

I know how frustrating it is signing somebody only for some pillock to turn round and say 'he's shit' but Hoban was fucking garbage in the Conference. I was popping to the Non League forum to laugh at Lincoln for signing him but the fact he's signed for Mansfield is more a feeling of pure amazement.

I think many of us were surprised too, if he's struggling to get into your team, with respect he shouldn't be within a light year of ours.

Green, yousiff and rose should be enough to score plenty of goals, but if he can do the donkey work, or be a useful sub he will have fulfilled the role I think adam has in mind for him.

That is utter shite... He's on a three year deal and the club wouldn't accept a penny for him with the amount he cost the club, anything you could offer him JR would double, he's already one of the best paid in the league. Also his family are based here why would he go all the way to Carlisle??? Don't know who told you this but its laughable.

My sources have confirmed that Matt Green is indeed off to Carlisle. A real show of intent from the Cumbrians and a big blow to Mansfield's title chances.

He handed in a transfer request at the end of the season. After the bid failed in January, he told Mansfield that he wants to leave, but the club persuaded him to give them until the end of the season then they wouldn't stand in his way of furthering his career. He feels at 29 now is the time, it's not about sitting at Mansfield and becoming a millionaire on the mega bucks contract, it's purely football reasons.

At the end of the season Mansfield backtracked and said they want him to honour his contract. He then handed in the written transfer request. This week Mansfield have reluctantly accepted an offer. Don't worry it will be significantly more than the penny that you've said you wouldn't accept.

This has come from a very good source who has connections to both clubs. I understand you'll be disappointed, but the sooner you come to terms with your loss the easier it will be.

Our sixth signing of the season is Jordan Slew. His record looks shite for a striker. Very underwhelming.
