Both done deals! Lovely stuff bring on the season!!

Darragh and Barry Fry v an inexperienced conference manager.... Bostwicks current value on scout 7 is 300K and Andersons is 50K.... You've definitely spent more than you can afford on a 29 year old and a poor winger.

Bostwick would be good, I wouldn't of minded signing him as a defensive midfielder. But not worth a transfer fee.

Bostwick would be a cracking signing but it would also make that weird Lincoln thing about us spending loads of money look quite funny.

Raggett will be going the other way, surely.

I don't think anyone said you were spending loads of money, just that you'd offered Hawkridge a deal that we'd not have offered him ourselves (and rightly so).

There was a mad like front page breakdown on your unofficial site about how you couldn't compete with these clubs risking their futures by offering two year deals to Terry Hawkridge.

If so, a terrible move for him. Last place you want to go as a defender is Peterborough. Their lot prefer 5-4's and attacking football, which is hardly going to make a defender stand-out.

Makes sense for him to move up a level a make sure he plays regularly but not there.

Ah right, didn't see that.

Suppose the difference is we're spending what we're earnt ourselves.

No mention of Raggett either. Absolute scenes if he signs a new contract as has been rumoured.

3-year deal for Anderson as well.

We've not handed a 3 year deal out since Alan Marriott back in 2005 or so.

Bostwick will be on a colossal wage surely? If he's still the player he used to be that's a hell of a signing.

Delighted to get H. Anderson back, I thought he was excellent last season and will be a shrewd buy. I think he could make us big money should he develop, How McCann saw him as a wing back I'll never know. That gives us 4 energetic and exciting wingers who can all play the Cowley pressing game.

Would've thought he must be the highest paid player in the league now. Wasn't he only transfer listed at Posh because of being in the last year of his contract!?!

I'd imagine Bostwick will be played in midfield alongside Knott and Woodward, dependant on if we play with a midfield five rather than a four.

Yeah they do it with everyone who gets to 12 months left regardless of squad status. Would have thought he'd have been on a weekly wage substantially higher than anyone in League Two at Posh given he signed for them when they were a Championship club, who knows though. Definitely a statement signing for Lincoln.

Unfortunately I think Bostwick is an excellent signing at this level. Not sure about Anderson but bostwick definitely. Unless of course he passes to the stewards on a regular basis!

Aye, and wouldn't have thought he'd have had any business leaving unless it was at least matched.

Always think that you're better off at this level investing big fees/wages into someone with resale value, but I suppose they've done that as well with Anderson.

We've been linked with Michael Bostwick and Harry Anderson from Peterborough.

Don't buy it myself.
Bloody hell. It was true. Good enough for a title push yet?

Bostwick is an amazing signing at this level.

Happy with both, not just Bostwick because when Anderson was on loan here last season he did really well. Think it was a one in 4 goal ratio from the wing. 3 year deal for Anderson and 2 for Bostwick. Undisclosed fee but must have cost us a packet, of which I didn't see coming one bit.

Should hopefully manage mid table+ now WH_Stag.

Did absolutely nowt for us but that was a few years ago and at a higher level, think he did okay for FGR last season.
Seemed a bit of a luxury at first, sort of flash but not too effective, but got into his stride and was instrumental in nicking an away win at Tranmere and then starred in the play-off final. Would be delighted to have him back.

Impressive signings that. Bostwick is the signing of the Summer so far for me.

Honestly think that Grant is, if only because good attacking players and goalscorers are so much harder to come by down here, but I suppose that he isn't really ours.

Good night for Lincoln...

Still work to be done for us to consider ourselves top 7 challengers. Among the bang average squads there's a few that are at least on par or better than ours. Im all for team ethic but still think we need a couple of big signings.
