Yeah hear he's a bit of a nutter! Walked off in a Scottish game with the ball didn't he when injured?!
Yeah, I actually liked him here he obviously has the skill but just as Paul Haddock says he is a walking red card.

We've got Robbie Weir on trial playing tonight supposedly - he was very good for Burton the year they got promoted from League 2 as I remember going to watch them a few times. No idea what he's been like since then though - signed for Orient after Nolan left but Thomas will know about him.

Last season of all the "big" signings we made, he was the one I was most excited and happy about, because of his track record with Burton. he was also made our captain.

However, he was awful for us. An awful captain and his on field performances were really, really poor. He would regularly lose possession and pick the wrong passes.

His season was summed up when he was sent off after ten seconds against Plymouth for a reckless tackle and away at Exeter back in January this year when he picked up a nasty ACL injury which ruled him out of the rest of our season. He played 22 games at that point and to be honest, he was such a let down.

Don't get me wrong, part of his poor performances were down to our awful owners, no doubt. But even the likes of Gavin Massey, Liam Kelly and Tom Parkes all had periods of good form last season for us even though we were shit, so it can't all be blamed on our owners and situation.

His wife and kids apparently didn't move down with him to London and stayed in the Derby area, which may have also contributed to his below par 6 months for us.

Looks like we're signing David Forde to replace Norris.

Had an excellent season at Pompey so would be pleased to have him as our number 1.

Wow how naff. I hope he's trying to be ironic but as 95% of footballers wouldn't understand that word, I doubt it. Just sad.
Him in the video, not your comment.

Now that is a signing and a half.

'Robbie Weir' looks nothing like him - it was actually Liam Walker

I tweeted Weir as a guess because he was left footed, about the right height and had played for Nolan before and for some reason people decided I actually knew haha.

Walker did okay against a good team, imagine we may take another look.

Mark Warburton has confirmed that Jorge Grant is being loaned back to us for the season.

Fantastic signing, he's too good for this league, still short in other areas but it immediately makes our summer look a whole lot better.

Fitzroy's son. He only signed a new deal recently and seemingly we've let him go for nothing and with no signing on % which seems a little odd.
That's cos he's shite, AS!

Honestly, nobody knows if he's any good or not as he's never played. Mind you, if he fancies having Chuckles as gaffer again, there's got to be something wrong with him!

Outstanding news for us.

Maybe a first sign that this "not just signing anyone and holding out" transfer policy may work!

Hopefully get it fully confirmed today but i'm made up, a player who can get into double figures from midfield is huge at any level.

Bristol City have had a bid for Isaac Vassell rejected apparently, half our bloody squad on someone's radar this summer.

Personally think it's way too early for him to step up, he improved so quickly last season but was still only a bit-part player for most of it, needs a whole season as a regular to fully establish himself as a top striker at this level before moving up IMHO.

That said, he's only got a year left on his contract so we don't have nearly as much security as we do with James Justin. I'm sure we'll be reluctant to sell but he could walk for nothing next summer.

Who, Jorge Grant!?

Ha, no. Hardy.

Grant looks a good signing, btw

Jorge Grant and Ilkeston saved in one day. Will not be accepting any negativity about Big Al from now on.

We've been linked with Michael Bostwick and Harry Anderson from Peterborough.

Don't buy it myself.

Anderson I can, given that we've already had one bid rejected for him. Bostwick not so much.

Booty apparently isn't happening at the minute, which seems a similar situation to Caton last season in that we've had a good look at him, delayed confirming anything and then someone else came along.

I'm surprised there's been a bid for him. Not sure what his valuation would be. He's not in the £500k player bracket, but it would probably cost that for us to let him go.

Apparently between us and FGR to loan Kaiyne Woolery. No idea if he's any good.

Did absolutely nowt for us but that was a few years ago and at a higher level, think he did okay for FGR last season.
