Paul Digby has been sold to Forest Green Rovers for a undisclosed fee.

Definitely potential in him but we didn’t really see it and he did not get much of a chance, we are overloaded in central midfield so this is good news.

What sort of player is he?

Only seen Digby is a defensive midfield role once or twice and that day away at Lincoln he was outstanding. Used at the back after that and was pretty average. Think he will do well for Forest Green if they’re planning on playing him in the middle.

Think he's said he came to us to play that role and it's what we're after so should expect that's where he'll be put.

in that case I stand corrected.
We’ve looked at and failed to get the likes of Ferrier, Dennis, Rowe, Lloyd.

Ferrier wasn’t prepared to move up north for 2k a week plus bonuses. Love to know what boring wood pay him then.

Defensive midfielder, like I said we did not see much of him. heard any fee that end?

Defensive mid is definitely an area that needed strengthening, so pleased with that. Looks like he'll bring a bit of physicality which is something we need.

Not heard anything on the fee, we tend to be pretty guarded on that front.

Not unless we are willing to get a replacement I imagine.

Danny Rose is our main goalscorer unless Walker proves himself, and Angol is our record transfer fee.

Basically it’s going to cost a lot to buy either, Coventry probably in for Rose.

Some daft/interestingfees being bantered about for what our fans think they’re worth/should be sold for

Signed Nicky Hunt on a 1 year deal as back up for the full back positions.

The rejected bids for Angol and Rose were both above £300,000.

I'll be so bitterly disappointed if we sell Rose, but at least I know we will receive one hell of a fee if so.

We should’ve fetching £250k for him at least. I find it ridiculous he wants rid of him and seems disastrously short sighted on the face of it. He’s a fans favourite and already proven himself to be one of the better forwards in this league.

And so it begins

We need to move players on to bring anyone in as Evans has left us with 3 players all transfer listed picking up 2-4K a week.

Both players are going for over 300k each which isn’t to be sniffed at for a club of our size. Especially when you consider they’re probably both 2nd choice anyway

They’re both off to join up with there ex manager

We don't need to sell Angol or Rose to bring that defender in now we have sold Digby.

£1.2 million for Angol sounds about right, but I'm not too sure on Danny Rose supposedly going for £550,000. Shouldn't sell him for anything less than £700000 IMO.

Apparently signing Shane Ferguson from Millwall and maybe Sid Nelson as well.

Just curious about your figures, why would Angol be worth that much more than Rose?

Danny Rose is one of the best strikers in the league. What's he done to piss off flitcroft. Score goals?

Local media saying we have another just about done, which will leave us with one or two more, probably loans towards the end of August.

No decision yet on Luque either and that's a little surprising given that he's been with us since the first day of pre-season.

We had another friendly this afternoon and had trialists McQueen (Carlisle), Mbulu (Milwall) another another 5.

Crookes was also back from Forest having been missing the last two friendlies.

Well im not sure its flitcrofts decision ,from what ive seen ,and i may be wrong but its a case of selling at the best time if they both go ,which is possible it seems a striker to come in with a defender ,,

And you think you’ll get someone better than Rose?
