He was great for us, and very apprciative of the money Luton gave us, but I always felt Jervis has a narrow band of systems he can work in. Do you play one up front and need someone on the right of midfield? If not, I'd pass.

We had Jervis back in 2011, in league 2. I can't remember much about him but according to Wiki scored 5 in 16 for us in all comps.

He scored 3 goals in 6 games, I wouldn't call him shite.

Seem to remember he missed a sitter against Hartlepool in his first or second game though and that just coloured the fans impressions of him permanently.

Last season he got tapped up by the Scottish fatty at Peterborough, realised it was not a good idea, then was devoid of any confidence all season and also he got clattered so bad at Newport he was straw fed for a bit.

A season to forget but a confident on form Rose is a really good L2 striker, will happily get bashed about all game but is prone to a ridiculous dive it has to be said.
