Poorly treated by Buckle, yes. But he definitely didn't help himself. Some of his performances were shambolic that season.

Yeah, his wife/our ceo has been on there forever and confirmed it, plus some other people who are in contact with him.

Hard to see Cranston, Wroe, Daniels and Hayhurst even making the bench tbh, so they can all go, although I still think the latter has something to offer.

Also imagine that the three youth team graduates given deals will be off to cut their teeth at Ilkeston or Boston, so not really worth including them.

Yeah, it was 25 permanent players maximum and any loanees would be on top of that. Mainly because by loanees it'll be more Jordan Williams than Cassidy/McLaughlin. i.e. I think we'll just have the odd youngster short-term occasionally rather than paying decent wages for a long-term loanee.

Makes me feel a bit sick seeing so many ex Daggers go down to Luton, especially ones like Benson/Green/Griffiths that I absolutely loved whilst they was down here. You become attached to individual players, so to see them effectively forming an old side of our players down there hurts a bit.

Oh and needless to say that is a ridiculously good signing. He's obviously on decent wages or he'd be at a League One club - where his talent suggests he should be.

Must say I'm quite impressed with Orient's recent signings. Akinde and now Ollie Palmer according to some internet sources. Looks like they are really going for it this year.

Just as well as without these signings they'd just be a bunch of shit no hoppers destined for a season of struggle.

We've signed centre back Troy Brown. Was at Cheltenham last season so hope he was one of their better players!!

He wasn't. He came to us from Aldershot after they were relegated and our defence has been awful since.

The fact that we were happy to see him released and are pinning our defensive hopes on an ageing Steve Elliott getting up to fitness tells you all you need to know. He's positionally awful, he often tries the through ball straight out for a goal kick and every now and then he might win a header.

I honestly can't believe another League club has taken a punt on him when he's as dogshit as he is. If he's your first choice then I might get some money on you ending up like us and Aldershot before us.
