No idea where this one’s come from! Genuinely think this must be the Waters cash that we’ve kept back from last season.

His wages have got to be double what anyone else is on in our squad. Massively impressed we’ve pulled this off.

Telford 'rumoured' to be on £5k a week here. Certainly much more than everyone else. That's why I'm surprised he has gone.

Definitely a decent player but not worth those wages. If you want the scoring record from his Newport days play him upfront with a big lad. Whatever you do, don't play him up front on his own and lump long balls towards him (until you play us).

I'm presuming he has gone to either:

Free up wages for an incoming player or

Wagmi are running out of money..

We’ve got three big lads up front, so that shouldn’t be a problem…

In other news Jaydon Davis has gone to Farnborough on a season long loan and Sonny Fish has gone to Worthing for a months loan.

He has a reputation for being a decent bloke around the changing room.

His penalties are crap...ask Gillingham

Where is this Barrow money coming from? Old Curtis Warren involved again?

What’s the WAGMI excuse going to be this time then?

Excellent Blue Square reference to tease the signing as well. Ten past Telford.

To the Going For It thread.

I can only go off what I’ve seen but every time I’ve seen Telford play he’s played like a bag of shit.

Especially when you loan them out to league rivals!

If you are referring to Jake Young, unlike Eoin Doyle, it's a flash in the pan mate.

Young started off well with us then after a few games he just looked non league standard and then fell out with Mark Hughes.

It will be interesting though to see whether you can get a consistent tune out of him, if you can, then we can recall him in January and sell on for a fee

Excuse for what? High salary. Wasn't a good fit. Everybody seems happy. of course, if it turns out that they've let him go for free and are still picking up half his wages, then they may need their excuse generator.

He only played 7 games for you - that’s hardly giving him a chance. Presume it was down to him and Hughes falling out. Saying that, he did fuck all at Barrow.

His stock was such that he probably had the pick of league 2 sides, and possibly some in league 1, but his career choices - particularly going to Crawley - probably could be questioned. Wild at Barrow seems to get the best out of players so it could be the kick up the arse he's needed. I've not seen Telford much but he's never really looked very dangerous or stood out at all.

Crawley down to 3 fit strikers after selling Telford so I would expect us to use the freed up money to splash out on a "highly rated" player either on loan or from the giddy heights of national south.

Any idea on what Fish is like? The name fits us like a glove but we had Shubar off yous last year who left a lot to be desired.

That's twice you've made that comment and then quoted posts that don't relate and aren't relevant.

What's the typical syndrome for a Mansfailed fan?
Its relevant if you read your response like i said full of your self importance

Ok, a big flash!!. If he keeps it up though, he will bag us a decent transfer fee in January from someone.

The other alternative is that Mark Hughes leaves the club and new manager recalls him in January

Probably, although I cannot see it being us.

Let's hope it's Bolton that come in for him, then we can complete Eoin Doyle v2.0.

Stockport County.
Looks like we're looking to bring in a couple this week with maybe a couple going the other way. Injuries have changed the landscape for us a bit, we'll have to bring in a defender of some kind with our only reserve centre half in Neil Byrne out for a while.

I think it'll be busy this week across the leagues as the teams higher up the chain start letting people out on loan etc.
