A: spend craploads of cash removing that 10 odd man coaching set-up and find a short term old head manager to try and steady the ship

Or

B: spend craploads of money replacing the entire side because after 4 months it’s proved none of them can play the system.

I like Wearne, but he cannot shoot for anything. His main trait this year has been running around and fluffing it once it gets into the attacking third, and he's fallen out of favour twice under Lindsey. This honestly is the most expected transfer of the window for me.

At the memorial game after George died we set aside a seat on the bench with a shirt in memory of George (had been placed there by a number of ex pros that played with him, Dele Alli, George Williams etc) and given the importance to us of the entire Baldock family, Sam and George especially as they were two of the first to come through the academy under this guise and make it as footballers, it was a really raw and emotional day.

Leigh didn't wear the black armband in the second half, and then when he got subbed off he moved the shirt and threw it on the next seat before fucking off down the tunnel pretty much before the full time whistle. Stupidity that came across as disrespectful on a very important day for the club. Add in the fact that we lost... fans rightfully weren't happy at all with him, and then his brother comes online to defend him and that just made things worse with us.

He's good between the boxes. Chases things down, I thought he moved the ball forwards pretty well too, he just couldn't pass or shoot in the final third.

He’s a player you can’t help but like, great attitude, great engine… but he’s not a Mike Williamson player as his ball control, distribution and positioning is bang average (at best!).

Dummett? Why? He’s played eleven league games in the last five years and just got released by Wigan after three games all season. A drop into League Two was the likely outcome, no reason he’d have been made one of the league’s top earners at all.

Been told tonight from two separate sources (one called our signing today before anyone knew) that we are in talks with Lincoln about bringing Freddie Draper back here whether it's permanent or a loan I don't know that yet but we definitely want him.

He made his last premier league appearance only 8 months ago. That makes his stock still quite high. There’s no way he’d agree to come to the worst team in the football league for peanuts. Carlisle will be paying him a lot . Maybe not 8k, but a lot!

I’m not one of these weird fans that takes pride when their team overpays, but I’m fairly sure in this case he will be earning well for getting out of bed to play for this shower of shit.
