We have signed Nathan Thompson from Stevenage.

Needed another defender so seemingly a decent signing. His brother Louis, also at Stevenage, played for us too a few years ago.

Is he shit?

With who?
Well there's Cameron McJannet from Derry...and er, that's it for us. At present I'd say he is player of the season so far. But then about half a dozen of your squad are Irish qualified, so how many of those did he bring in for you...

Scum. “He’s shit. Honestly, absolute new levels of shit. I can’t believe we’ve got a fee for him. We’ve had Spurs’ pants down. Great business.”
I never said that. I wasn’t even on this forum in 2015.

I’m suing you for libel.

Not my fault your manager (who is truly shit) signed a shit player from us for you. Wearne and Williamson, I apologise for your misfortune and smile upon our good fortune. Liam Sweeting hates you. Soz.

That’s rude. They have fans. In fact, their home attendances aren’t that different to yours.
By not that different you mean just over half of ours...

I doubt they average many more than 3k home fans in the ground, for their highest ever league status. And their stewards are class A cvnts, treated our fans like they were 1980s Millwall of the north a few years back. Top of the class tinpotters...

We signed one when he was with us, Danny Mandroiu (who went back to Shamrock on a short term deal until the end of their season in November and I don't think he's signed for anyone else since).

That's kinda the point I was getting at though, there's this myth amongst Grimsby fans that our former, and now your, Head of Recruitment set up our Ireland exploits and we brought in loads of LOI players under him and we didn't - it was one.

We had been in Ireland for three years or so before he turned up and we've only signed five overall (and two of those went to the Academy when they signed).

Thanks, yes that is a myth then. Probably helped along by McJannet doing so well.

Your case has collapsed before it’s even begun.

So two clubs who got more fans in against Accrington than you managed.

In fact, I’ve just checked. Colchester, Carlisle, Chesterfield, Gillingham, Notts County, Newport, and Doncaster all managed this feat. We are only halfway through the season too.

Tinpot.

Comparing and debating Grimsby Town and Stevenage home attendances. Glorious.

You love to see it :2thumb:

But the question remains do Stevenage count only bums on seats like the odd few :bg:
What else you gonna do on a Friday? Sit in your fucking armchair wanking off to pop idol? Fair comparisons between Grimsby and Stevenage…love it.

If Evans was still manager there wouldn't be any seats left to count and it would be a sell out every week !

Tell someone who cares mate.

You sure you're not Viking Magpie with a different alias, you're starting to post boring rubbish constantly and are starting to sound just like him.

I keep telling you to get over the 2008 JPT final and you still act like this. It’s embarrassing. You were probably caught crying on the TV and that’s why you’re being so mean now. It won’t change the fact you lost on your big day out to us.

Saying that, your picture would suggest you weren’t even born in 2008. In which case I don’t know what your problem is, apart from the fact we’ve consistently been better than you on the field for two decades.
I'd say it's a tie between this match and the FA Trophy we lost to Halifax as our least significant big day out in my life. Pretty wild that you bring this up several times a week and think that we care about it.
