"Technical hitch"?

Do they mean let's get the draw we want ?!

Well all the top teams have been kept apart with 2 at home and Man U away to Bristol City...

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
What a farce. Eventually put out a 'pre recorded' video, too.

Every draw has been a balls up, devaluing the competition even more. Real shame as it used to be a valuable competition.

Should never have gone to extra time but a good win with a reserve side out. Good performances from some of the kids.

Not really sure why we didn't go full strength. Maybe Puel didnt fancy our chances if we got through.

We've got Chelsea this evening. I imagine they'll make wholesale changes. Due to a number of injuries we won't be able to make so many, maybe only half the 11. Not sure whether that helps us or not as our normal side isn't exactly firing on all cylinders. The league is obviously priority, but if we could sneak through a semi final would set a new cup highpoint for a the club, and isn't to be dismissed even if it is the League Cup.

Some West Ham fans disappointed they didn't give it more of a go at Arsenal?

We have a threadbare squad right now. Can literally only fill the bench using players listed as "First team" on the OS, and even that includes several who are players in our development squad.
That said if we play how we did against Derby, Stoke or Middlesbrough and Manchester United have an off day then an upset is possible.

Proper kick in the bollocks for us, after a good second half resulting in an 89th min equaliser, we go and let in a 91st min winner for Chelsea whilst our lot are still celebrating!

Have to try taking the positives, a different formation looked much better.

Absolute fair play Brizzle City, brilliant stuff.

Sounds like the sort of night that makes all of the times you’ve seen your team put in an awful performance worthwhile. Good to see a lower division side come at one of the big boys and knock them out of a cup.

Bristol City’s result was absolutely everything you follow football for. That moment of absolute brilliance and running on the pitch in pure joy. A ‘tell the grandkids’ moment. Fantastic for them. (But don’t hold out any expectations for the semi! )

Bournemouth’s result was why you suddenly decide you fucking hate football and go home to kick the car. Ouch!!!

Obviously I'm biased but thought we fully deserved that tonight.
We edged the first half, despite Manchester hitting the woodwork and having a shot deflected onto the bar.
The all round play for Bryan's goal was simply outstanding.
After Ibra equalised they were on top for a while, though not sure it should have been a freekick (I was right behind the goal we scored in, so not the best view).
Then Korey Smith pops up with an injury time winner.
Over the moon tonight, throats gonna be sore tomorrow though.

Well done Bristol City and Jose should be pleased.

2 less games for his "tired lads" to avoid playing.

Will Pogba get in trouble for his dangerous tackle?

I only saw the slow motion replay and apparently it looks worse than it actually was in that context.

Please stop calling Manchester United ‘Manchester’...

It’s very annoying.

It's a running joke based on everyone calling us Bristol.

You're Manchester Blue for now

I’ve been to The Mem too many times to make that mistake. Bristol looking good tonight. Going off this and the game against Manchester, they will do ok next season if they get promoted.

Nailed on pen.

Bristol City showing up all those PL sides who are terrified of actually attacking Man City.

City aren't really performing so far though. Gundogan has been wasteful, Silva pointless and Sterling isn't a striker.

Credit to Bristol nonetheless, they've been exceptional at times.
