Absolute shambles of a competition that. I have it on the same level as the Papa John's autoglass shield and the FA Trophy.

Leave the FA Trophy out of it. Grand completion. I say that and Crawley have never ever looked close to winning it.

I do fear that Crawley and their fans are going to get made an exampe of here by the EFL.

They couldn't properly punish the clubs whose fans attacked players last season so they'll throw the book at Crawley in a test of their new rules.

The incidents towards the end of last season were unacceptable and the authorities are right to try and prevent a repeat of it, but although EFL, the media and clubs themselves have never condoned pitch invasions they've often turned a blind eye to them and the EFL have openly admitted that while it was always against the rules they haven't looked to prosecute fans. Clubs may officially warn fans not to enter the field of play but then in situations like this, players and staff will join in the celebrations and the media love showing these scenes. Look at how often the pitch invasion at Hereford is replayed.

We had some muppet’s invade in the last round against Lincoln (I have no idea why) Club identified them, gave instant bans then left it with cos to decide if they are to be prosecuted

The Scottish Challenge Cup is a fine and noble competition I’ll have you know. Honestly playing away at Airdree and Bohemians in 2018 was a lot of fun

What a load of shite that is. 500 mile round trip to Burnley on a Tuesday night.

I did Newcastle from my home on a Tuesday night at a similar stage a couple of seasons ago, I got back an hour before I was due to start work the next morning...enjoy the fact that you are in the round, enjoy the experience and add it to your list of anecdotal 'battle honours'.
