We're away at Swansea on tuesday. A few problems.

1. We're not very good
2. We're painfully slow at the back
3. We rarely look like scoring.
4. Wilcox has hinted that we may rest a few players. Shouldnt that be what the bigger club does?
5. Swansea are four leagues higher than us.

So all in all it could be a cricket score.

Glad York made it through. How big is your squad? We lost in R1 so have a full week before our game next Saturday!

We make the short trip to Newcastle on Tuesday, hopefully we can raise our game and cause an upset. Should be just over 1,000 making the trip up there too, not a bad effort for a trip that long.

We're going to get fucked by QPR. No chance of an upset as far as I'm concerned.

That's a cracking effort from your fans.

We will be playing a reasonably strong time and wont be making any mistakes I wouldn't have thought.

It was 900 sold Saturday night so could be closer to 1500 with a strong last couple of days of sale.

Was hoping for a weakened side because of how we're sandwiched in between your United/Arsenal games. Probably a good game for Thauvin to play in I'd imagine, Mitrovic too to try and get him a goal, and I hope Ivan Toney plays. Think if we beat you it'll be the 13th time we've beat a Champ/Prem club in the league cup in 12 years.

Away at Wolves. Exactly the kind of uninspiring tie that we'll pull off some kind of amazing performance in, before returning to normality with a 2-0 defeat on Saturday.

We'll lose in extra time I reckon, with Wolves all over us for the full 120.

We have a medium sized squad with no depth of quality. Mainly defenders.

Apparently our players were 'fatigued' on saturday, hence resting players.

Won there last year, 3-2. Lovely ground.

My only hope is that he plays CMW. If he wants to join Bolton then give him a chance to prove himself.

Yep, we have no chance away to QPR. If Charlie Austin plays he'll have a field day against our defence.

I'd rest Jabo, and I imagine Curle will play a second string side.

I'd love to progress to the 3rd round, and possibly get a big draw, but I just can't see it.

It could - probably should - be 5 or 6 goals for QPR.

I really don't know what to expect to be honest - we could turn up, we could not. Expecting Stoke to win quite easily, but for us to put up a bit of a fight.

Do any fellow League 2 teams have a realistic chance in their game or is this pretty much it for us?

I Imagine this is the end of the road for us L2 teams but hopefully at least one of will get through.

Sounds like Newcastle are going to play a mixture of first and second 11's so not expecting anything but a good away day for us!

We should have around 500/600 of us at Sunderland tomorrow I'd imagine. I'll be there.

We'll probably exit at this stage but there's shocks every year and with Sunderland in poor form, you never know, we may surprise them.

I'm pretty damned certain that we've got no chance. If we can give a decent account of ourselves and keep the score down I'd be quite happy.

Looking at the fixtures, the ones where I thought a League 2 upset might be on the cards would be Aston Villa v Notts County, Sheffield Wednesday vs Oxford Utd and Portsmouth vs Reading. If I had to pick one it would be Portsmouth, but I certainly wouldn't be surprised to find that there's no League 2 interest in the 3rd round.

Think this will be our lot. Tickets must be selling well as Wolves changed their mind and as of an hour ago it's no longer all ticket.
Allen has said he will be shaking things up after the poor display on Saturday.

I don't really want to see Jabo or Troy anywhere near this game. Curle has commented that it's another long Tuesday away trip and that some of the players didn't get home till 6:45am after the Plymouth game.

I'd go with...

If you boys can get over 1,000 supporters in I'm sure it'd make for a cracking night. McClaren will be desperate not to slip up here, he came in and made a big statement about the cups so I imagine he's going to play a decent side.

Where is good for a beer? Assume there'll be a lot of options

Bournemouth at ours. I don't give us much chance having watched their game at the weekend at West Ham, weakened team or not. Just hoping we don't get embarrassed.

Loads of pubs in and around the stadium, 'A Head Of Steam' 'The Lounge' and 'O'Neills' are probably the best.

Cheers, will be up there with a few hours to kill so will have a poke about. Excited.

We've just signed a right back on loan too so at least that's a position filled.

Have a good day mate, really is an impressive stadium. Especially if you've never been before.

I can vouch for O'Niells. Did a lot of work in Newcastle at the end of last year and was in there more or less every night. There's one in Cleethorpes aswell, That's also just as good just incase anyone gets Grimsby in the FA Cup

That team would get torn a new arsehole, I'd play some of the fringe players but not that many as that's just asking for a spanking. Realistically Austin would eat Matty Douglas for breakfast, all three of those centre backs have got a few mistakes in them.
