Crap draw for us.
Yeah, but we did say that this time last year when we got QPR.

History repeating. Beat a League 1 team at Brunton Park in the first round, moan about a crap draw away to a top-end Championship team in the second round, beat them... THEN Anfield.

Fairly pleased with Hull at home. Could have been worse and not naive to think we could potentially give them a game.

Pleased with Newcastle away. New ground for me personally and hopefully a decent crowd and a bit of a pay day for us!

We're really happy with a home game V Burnley - it'll make a change playing them at home and it not being a friendly/charity match.
Some Stanley fans reckon ours could be shown live on TV but I think they'll go for the Burton V Liverpool game.

A fair few contenders for TV there you'd think, especially if Sky show two or three games from the round.

Leeds are often stuck on TV due to their huge fanbase but hoping we avoid the cameras, the Saturday after the round we have a big game away at Cambridge so I'd prefer our game to stay on the Tuesday night slot.

Hope they stick Accrington/Burnley on.

Luton vs Leeds has the potential to be interesting, not least for the old bill.

Burton v Liverpool and Accrington v Burnley will be on TV I think (plus Luton v Leeds if they show three). Very happy with Newcastle away!

Hull are in total disarray at the minute and most Hull fans are furious. No manager, no new signings, only 14 senior first team players there at the minute, a takeover bid hanging in the balance and fans planning all sorts of protests on Saturday when they take on Leicester.

A good time to be playing them and I reckon you've got a decent chance of piling more agony on them.

What the fuck was that draw procedure all about? All this seeding and pre-draw bollocks is a load of tosh, and that's before we get on to the fact that it started 40 minutes later than planned. It's like being back in the Conference the way the Football League are running themselves these days.

Wolves away, pro's: decent ground, don't need to take any time off work for it either, cons: Been there before in the last 10 years with Cambridge which you couldn't say for most of the teams we could've drawn, probably won't take that many because of it.

Away at Morecambe on a Wednesday night, would be a new ground for me if I could do it, but bloody hell that's a trek.

Corrected that for you.
Delighted with the draw, Goodison is one of the grounds I've always wanted to go to.

Congratulations, extremely jealous.

Other than the annual local visits to Villa Park, West Brom etc - Goodison and White Hart Lane are the 2 grounds I've wanted us to visit for years, makes losing Tuesday all the more annoying.

Why is it a crap draw? With the seedings we were always getting a higher division team. At least it's a reasonably northern game.

Thinking about it last night it isn't the worst draw, and there's a chance we'll pull off another upset. I guess I'd have preferred a home tie, or a money-spinner.

Blackburn away is underwhelming, but winnable.

It's boring, I'd much rather have had either a bigger team or a more winnable tie. We'll probably lose and not earn much money in the process. Oh well, I guess we had our cup draw luck last season.

Where is the interest in this game? Yes its a local derby, but its like Luton v Stevenage - no real rivalry.
It's nothing like Luton v Stevenage. Burnley are a premier league club, and Accrington are little Accrington. There's the interest right there, people will watch to see if Accrington can pull off an upset against a bigger local club.

Last season when we were drawn away to QPR? This isn't much different. We could have had a more winnable tie, but not by a huge amount relative to our level.

I just feel Derby will be more professional in a tie like this than QPR were last season - I'd love to be proven wrong obviously but they're a very solid team and it'll be very hard to break them down, as it was last time we played them.

Have a quick google for the history of when and how Accrington originally lost their league place.
