I think your support is generally pretty good, but I just thought that was a standout poor following. Maybe just me, but I expected more. Your followings have been generally decent this year, and you'll accumalate some good numbers for a decent average come the end of the season IMO.fwiw I think our support is pretty shit to average and I'm pretty renowned on skybluestalk for having a pop at our supporters.
Nothing to shout out about for sure but nothing to be ashamed either, but maybe that is because I have come accustomed to our support. I don't think we even sold out Burton which is less than an hour away.I think your support is generally pretty good, but I just thought that was a standout poor following. a lot of people would have been put off by the trouble last year, but yeah, atrociousUnder 3,000 Dale fans then. Interesting.
Don't buy into that at all. The matches are usually well policed and pass relatively trouble free. Last year was an exception with both teams flying in the league and you could feel the tension as soon as you got near the ground. If one game like that puts you off going the game then maybe football isn't the sport for you.a lot of people would have been put off by the trouble last year, but yeah, atrocious

On Saturday I was in two minds whether I should pay £25 to stand in the rain and watch them shit twats play.
I made the right decision.
But, seriously, they want PREMIER LEAGUE CLUBS to charge £20. This season £25 at Fleetwood, £26 at Millwall, £25 at Swindon. It's never going to happen. Thinking about it, you can get a Premier League ticket for £30. What's better value? Premier League will always win for the younger generation. Why would a young lad from London pay £25 to watch Charlton (for instance) when he can pay £35 to watch Chelsea.
The pricing structure for home and away fans needs to start from the lower leagues.
So you think a family of four with two kids wouldn't be put off by trouble at the same fixture last year? I'm not saying it's the only factor in our crap turnout but certain people would have given this one a miss because of the bad press. Yeah you can all laugh cause we have a shit fanbase but it's what going on on the pitch that really matters. Our average gates and budget means we should be fighting relegation in league two but we're in midtable league one going through the best period in our history with the best manager in our history so I really couldn't care less tbh.Ive heard alot of excuses on support before but this one just about tops it, anyone who get puts off from going to football because of potential agro needs to start watching carpet bowls or something else instead.
715 Bradford at Millwall.
Very impressive following.
