Not really. The league game v you was quite slow to sell out for some reason. The game that was closest to an 'instant' sell out was Mansfield - queues for home tickets.
Going back to 2011/12 they've never had the overflow despite 2k plus followings each time

I was there, previously stated what an appalling turn out, the apathy amongst our fans is rife. Disgraceful support and 2000 home fans isn,t much better either in a 2510 attendance.

so it genuinely looked sub 500? fuck that's our worst following in some time.

I expect our average will improve due to a) playing far better football to watch and climbing the table. b) most of our away games now are more local

United? No. You only got it as apathy had set in by the time we played you as it was clear Sheridan was drunkenly getting us relegated.
Enjoyed the win mind even if it meant nothing come the end of the season.

2000 home fans on a Saturday is unforgiveable even by our standards

Great following from us, proper old school turnout. Kicked off a bit with our own lot, the only downer really.

Updated the table for the missing figures on Saturday and Tuesday's games, except I've still not found a figure anywhere for Peterborough at Scunthorpe.

Anyone have any idea?

The marketing at clubs like Rochdale, Bury, Fleetwood is absolutely embarrassing and a total shambles.

How do they expect growth or get any interest from none supporters when the ticket prices are so high? £22 for the first two. Only hardcore supporters are going to be willing to pay that.

We're being charged £25 for Fleetwood over Christmas, yet Fleetwood fans are being charged £20! That is another thing that is wrong, charging away supporters more than home fans, clubs get around this by charging 1 seat that price in the home stand etc.

In the cup away to Bury, Wigan wanted to charge £10, Bury being the home team wanted to charge £22 for a FA Cup 1st round tie, absolutely scandalous, tickets were delayed by over a week due to the stalemate and eventually we had no option but to except £18 which was a disgrace. Why not charge £10 get a couple of thousand fans that don't normally come and perhaps get some people encouraged to go to games and boost the crowds? You never know some people might get hooked and start going regularly.

We're charging £5 for Saturdays Cup game. Thank goodness we have owners who actually give a shit about the fans.

Yeah I mean it's not like you're getting 10 million a year extra than everyone else is it?

Fucking hell. Use your brain.

486 of us Vale at Rochdale. Embarrassing. I remember in league 2 we took 3k there, all be it when we going for promotion, but still. We genuinely got better support in league 2 for every season we were down there. No one seems bothered anymore. Fans of this club won't turn up unless we are challenging at the top of the league, that's the truth of it I'm afraid.

admission prices always a cause for debate on here, last week at Rochdale my lad was £5-00 which is great by any clubs standards. Compare to in a couple of weeks time Walsall away 12-00pm kick off on a Sunday on Sky £14-50 . Makes a grand total of £35-00 to take me and my lad , or shall i have a nice Sunday lunch and a couple of sherbets and not bother and just watch it on Sky !! The last game before crimbo are notoriously poor gates so there will be 2 less at the Bescot now due to the prices.

Try ringing Walsall for the tickets.
When I went a few weeks ago I noticed that they do a family ticket for one adult and a child (U18 I think) considerably cheaper than the ticket price. I seem to remember that it worked out something like a couple of quid for the u18 and u12 was free.
This was not available through Gillingham, only if I rang Walsall direct. Even though the tickets were for the away stand.
It actually worked out pretty reasonable.
Worth a try.

I always assume 'my lad' means 'my penis'. guessing it doesn't in this case?

Looks like our second batch of Chesterfield tickets will be sold out within a few hours, luckily managed to just get mine.

Not too sure how any will go up to Sheffield on Sunday. About 800 sold, so I would imagine 1200 maybe. Could be better, but it is a 12pm kick off on sky:hb:.

Sold the 600 online in 7 minutes.

Not sure why the bandwagon is rolling for this one.

You'll get another 800 in the east stand if you want them once the 2000 behind the goal is sold. Our home support this season is down around 1000 on last season do no way we will have more than about 6,500 home fans in for it

Seems like we have requested more.

75 Shrews fans at Grimsby yesterday.

Their fans must really dislike each other. They couldn't have spread themselves out further across the away stand if they'd tried. If they sat together at least they might have made a bit of noise rather than a muted shout of "Salop" every now and then.

Millwall bringing alot tonight, sold over a 1k a while ago. Good numbers for a JPT area semi I've never been so excited for a JPT area semi final before which is very hypocritical of me as I was saying no-one cares about the JPT in another thread, ha.

Think thats what fooled me into estimating around the 120 mark.
Yeah i thought they were very quiet too, but i guess a cold Monday night in Cleethorpes is not really that much to get excited about for them lol!
