what...1994, even in the late 70s we averaged 7k in a season you will always be minnows to us always have been deal with it my friend even if we were bottom now we would still average miles more than crewe home and away, i have nothing against crewe your just a bitter little flapjackA few years ago we spent many seasons in tier 2 in actual fact.
And after you sell your allocation that's it I'm afraid-you won't have any more fans there.
Nothing for us to be embarrassed about-we'll still have far more supporters present than you bring...despite being shit and bottom of the table
Your lot were averaging 1,800 at home not too long ago. That's embarrassing.
Good work. Not that I wish to prolong this argument, but check out the stats prior to when a certain Mr Whelan started pumping in the cash - from your own website I believe:

its called growing as a club... what have pne done since you were born ? nothing at all but nice try
Are you looking forward to playing Chorley again in the next few years? Must be a while since you've played your main rivals nowits called growing as a club... what have pne done since you were born ? you are barely averaging 13k in the championship compared to our first season in the championship of 15k and your away support is embarrassing
same with any club look at you men in the fa cup semi where did all them fans come from ? millwall are as bad as anyone for band wagon fans..pipe downNot that I wish to prolong this argument, but check out the stats prior to when a certain Mr Whelan started pumping in the cash - from your own website I believe:

...and we still get better crowds than you.
The fact Wigan can win the FA cup as little as two years ago and their crowds still fall back down to about 7,000 says it all.
Doesn't sound like growth to me, sounds like a rosey spell and now you're back down to Earth.
currently 4 points off 2nd in the league....that's not going to happen,If we go up this season lets see if we get more than 13k at home in the championship you will never be in the prem,we have more chanceAre you looking forward to playing Chorley again in the next few years? and no we get 8000 home fans wrong again.......and we still get better crowds than you.

Well you didn't last seasoncurrently 4 points off 2nd in the league....that's not going to happen,If we go up this season lets see if we get more than 13k at home in the championship
Well you didn't last season[/QUOTE
we did after getting relegated from the prem, we had just under 13k the following season which was good considering what a terrible season it was for us
1500 ? almost sold out 2200,loudest fans in league easy when we a take good numbersWigan taking like 1500 to Crewe and they are going wild. Doesn't it take 28 minutes on the train??

bollocks hahahha dont be bitter we will average 15k in the championship if we go up,we had just over 9k on against chesterfield they brought 1000 which means 8k home fans right or wrong ?You got less than 13k last season even with your cheap season tickets. There's no chance you would average more than us if promoted, especially if you have to pay more than £250 for a season ticket. If you had to pay £400-£450 like us, you would be very lucky to average 10,000 home fans in the league above.
Also, you don't have 8,000 home fans at this level as that includes away fans. We averaged 2,500-3,000 more fans than you at this level last season despite being stuck down here for four seasons.
Like I say, you haven't grown, you've just had a good spell and reverted back to the norm.
bollocks hahahha dont be bitter
after 2 trips semi and a final, a non contest against man utd in a charity shield what do you expect ? and i think it was about 8kIsn't that more than you took to Wembley for the Charity Shield?
They average over 8k home fans, they averaged under 11k last season
4th highest home and away attendance in league on par with Swindon hahahahaha you talk some sh it nobend guyWhich part is bollocks?
Despite your recent success (and fair play on that) your fanbase is about on par with Swindon's (no disrespect Swindon), possibly smaller if you didn't subsidise tickets with the parachute money.
4th highest home and away attendance in league on par with Swindon hahahahaha you talk some sh it nobend guy
based on home fans only i dont think millwall get 8k i could be wrong and prob the same as barnsley they have had some massive away followings thereWrong. Barnsley and Millwall have better crowds than you.
We averaged 11,500 in our first season back down here... again, without cheap season tickets like yourselves.
About the same as you took to Wembley then in 2000 when a win would have put you in the second tier for the first time in your club's history.after 2 trips semi and a final, a non contest against man utd in a charity shield what do you expect ? and i think it was about 8k
dont remind me i was close to tears...best team lost, simon haworths goal though one of the best at the old wembley!About the same as you took to Wembley then in 2000 when a win would have put you in the second tier for the first time in your club's history.
