A few years ago we spent many seasons in tier 2 in actual fact.
And after you sell your allocation that's it I'm afraid-you won't have any more fans there.
Nothing for us to be embarrassed about-we'll still have far more supporters present than you bring...despite being shit and bottom of the table
Your lot were averaging 1,800 at home not too long ago. That's embarrassing.
what...1994, even in the late 70s we averaged 7k in a season you will always be minnows to us always have been deal with it my friend even if we were bottom now we would still average miles more than crewe home and away, i have nothing against crewe your just a bitter little flapjack

its called growing as a club... what have pne done since you were born ? you are barely averaging 13k in the championship compared to our first season in the championship of 15k and your away support is embarrassing

its called growing as a club... what have pne done since you were born ? nothing at all but nice try

...and we still get better crowds than you.

The fact Wigan can win the FA cup as little as two years ago and their crowds still fall back down to about 7,000 says it all.

Doesn't sound like growth to me, sounds like a rosey spell and now you're back down to Earth.

Are you looking forward to playing Chorley again in the next few years? Must be a while since you've played your main rivals now

Wigan taking like 1500 to Crewe and they are going wild. Doesn't it take 28 minutes on the train??

You got less than 13k last season even with your cheap season tickets. There's no chance you would average more than us if promoted, especially if you have to pay more than £250 for a season ticket. If you had to pay £400-£450 like us, you would be very lucky to average 10,000 home fans in the league above.

Also, you don't have 8,000 home fans at this level as that includes away fans. We averaged 2,500-3,000 more fans than you at this level last season despite being stuck down here for four seasons.

Like I say, you haven't grown, you've just had a good spell and reverted back to the norm.

Which part is bollocks?

Despite your recent success (and fair play on that) your fanbase is about on par with Swindon's (no disrespect Swindon), possibly smaller if you didn't subsidise tickets with the parachute money.

Isn't that more than you took to Wembley for the Charity Shield?
after 2 trips semi and a final, a non contest against man utd in a charity shield what do you expect ? and i think it was about 8k

Fair enough, must be getting some piss poor away followings visiting there this season then.

Anyway on topic, i've figured out that the Doncaster figure at Burton is 1,083 less their FA Cup following at Bristol City.

Wrong. Barnsley and Millwall have better crowds than you.

We averaged 11,500 in our first season back down here... again, without cheap season tickets like yourselves.

About the same as you took to Wembley then in 2000 when a win would have put you in the second tier for the first time in your club's history.

same with any club look at you men in the fa cup semi where did all them fans come from ? millwall are as bad as anyone for band wagon fans..pipe down

We know we aren't a big club, all the more incredible we've been to an FA Cup semi final and final within the last ten or so years, plus spent some time in the top flight not long before with no significant investment. Meanwhile, outside of the 80's when trouble was up and crowds were down, we've always averaged over 7k, something you'd never achieved prior to the money.

Pipe down indeed.
