Walsall are pretty well located, pretty much plonked in the middle of the country.

I'm desperately jealous of you guys up north. I wonder how many away games can you get to that's within an hour and a half travelling time? We have Crawley Colchester and Orient, 2 of those 3 yet to come. I haven't worked it out, but geographically speaking, which one of you is best situated for most local games? I've not worked it out but I'm guessing Barnsley or Sheff U

You best hope you get Millwall, Wycombe and one of Southend or Luton or else this league could be even worse for you next season.

I'm hoping Wigan can overturn their deficit to Fulham but I'm not sure that'll quite happen! Next year could feasibly be worse for us travel-wise certainly, as we look set to lose Crawley and maybe Orient, and we could quite easily fail to get anyone local up from League Two, if Burton, Shrewsbury, Bury and Plymouth make up the promoted quartet.

Oh, and it's definitely Chesterfield who have the least travelling to do.

That's it then, we'll just have to scrape into the play offs and win. The championship would be heaven for away games for us: Watford, Ipswich, Brentford, Brighton, Fulham, Charlton, Reading and probably QPR coming down. Us Gills fans can only dream!

We're pretty well placed yes. We've got Donny, Sheff United, Bradford, Chesterfield, Scunny, Oldham, Rochdale, and Notts all easily within an hour and a half's drive. However our train links are crap. Donny/Sheff United/Chesterfield/Crewe are probably best placed on that front. In fact I would say Chesterfield are probably the best placed overall. Do feel for clubs like you, Yeovil and Colchester stuck in the middle of nowhere and having to travel 3 hours plus half the time.

Our game against Colchester on the last game of the season looks absolutely impossible to get to by train, looks like there is fuck all coming out of London that way unless you fancy a journey on a replacement bus for a few hours.

You've been very hard done by there, they love their engineering works on that god forsaken line.

My advice, would be to stay in Chelmsford the night before and get a cab/bus to Colchester the next day - its only 30-40mins to Colchesters ground by road and down the A12 from Chelmsford.

If you want to get back to Preston the same night, I would recommend getting a taxi to Epping tube station from Chelmsford, which is about 20-30mins from Chelmsford - Which will then give you acces to the London Underground and you can make it back to London Euston from there in about an hour on a good day.

Both Taxi fairs in the £30 region, which between 3-4 people isn't bad.

Chelmsford isn't a bad night out for what it is.

Think I know a few people stopping in Southend the night before so that's a possible option

Southend is a better night out, but the Essex countryside and large fields mean its over an hours drive between the two, filled with traffic lights and roundabouts and it won't be cheap in a taxi!

Apart from being a little too close to Sheffield I'd say we are very well located full stop.

1,094 Bradford at Notts County. Pretty decent when we've got 3000+ going down to Reading on Monday night.

Wonder how many they'll bring to us on Tuesday..

Four wins out of four since Robertson took charge will certainly boost the numbers. However, I would be surprised if it was more than 300. It's a long old trek on a Tuesday night.
