It's not a long trip from Stoke and Sheffield is a top away day. Form doesn't even come into it, expected at least 1k from them for that fixture.

We have had followings of 3k and 1k+ there in the last few seasons. We never take big followings when we are piss poor

The 3k was a cup game though when you were in a lower league. Youve not got owt to play for so its just a pretty standard following in my opinion

That was poor from Col U, it's their local derby, just over an hour's run and on the back of their win last week, I thought they'd bring a few more than that. We always take anything from 650 to 1,000 plus when we go there.

We took 19 fans less than their 344 to Bristol last week and that's a 3 hour run.

I did a quick head-count on the picture and made it 215. Allowing 10% extra for calls of nature and/or pie purchase, plus a few more for those who may have sat in hospitality areas or with Dale-supporting mates then I reckon about 260. Whatever, it's still imho a reasonable turnout considering Scunny are on a poorish run at the moment.

I think this is why this thread is closed so much. Some people are so obsessed with waving their dicks around over how many people go and watch their team. I'd much rather have points on the table than taking loads of fans all over the place.

Dress it up all you want 40k is 40k whether they go every week or to the big games. When Swindon got to the JPT all my family members who never go went to the game. Granted the atmosphere was shit but it always is at wembley.

It is annoying and it can dampen the atmosphere a little, but at least you know you will enjoy it more and it will mean more to you. Not something to worry about really, unless you can't get a ticket as a result which is never the case due to the way clubs then sell tickets in those instances.

We could take 41000 for a proper cup final but i agree no where near that many for the jpt final.

To be fair there were around 39,000 at the 2009 play off final.

I think it's fair play all round that 72,000 went to the game yesterday, I'm all for it. Hope everyone had a good day out. That 55,000 won't go to their teams next game is neither here nor there.
