Scunthorpe are a joke for not giving out away followings. I can give you an estimation of about 200 vale fans went there.

Some from Rochdale's programme in the quote above, hopefully will get the Swindon and Shrewsbury missing figures when I get their programmes.

Thought it was a good effort last night considering it was midweek and on the box.

Gillingham away last Tuesday, and Southend away midweek in a fortnight. Some miles being put in by supporters!

Good effort.

Although, we played Charlton last Tues and took just under a 1,000. Gillingham is a 22 mile longer journey, and you managed just half.

Bolton would of managed near enough that to charlton I'd of thought. How many did you take to Gillingham 300 on a Saturday wasn't it.

Bradford regularly have shite followings at Priestfield if it helps, mostly on saturdays too. Bolton's was excellent.

We certainly do, is it a surprise we play each other every season. Port Vale and Gillingham are probably the worst fixtures of the season, as I'm sure it is the same for both Vale and Gillingham. I can't remember the last time we weren't in the same division.

Gills and Bradford have been together for 13 of the last 16 seasons, including the last 7 consecutively. With Vale, we're only been apart for 1 of the last 12! Vale and Bradford have met in 12 of the last 13 seasons. I'm bored of the pair of you to be honest!

Rovers just stated 4069 tickets sold for tomorrow. We have a coach going and only about three people have tickets. Will it be ok to go in home end Cov fans ?

He did send you for fish and chips though..

I'm from oooop norf, can ya simplify?

What he's basically saying is, Bolton had a bigger away following than us because it's the first time in a long time since they've been to Priestfield. The first time since Oct 2000, whilst we play them every season.

I just picked up on the plaudits given, and rightly so, it was a decent following. However, we received none for taking almost double for a similar journey, also on a Tues night.

- and no, I'm not looking for 'well dones'. Both were good followings for Tues nights, I was merely just pointing it out.

But yeah, fish n chips and all that!

Why didn't you just buy tickets?

It's not like there was a lack of them.

Those tickets were gold dust weren't they, wasn't as if they've been on general sale for over a week.

Scunthorpe - 2,200 sold, 200 left.

Bury - tickets on sale Monday. Hoping we get the full allocation - 3,100

Sheff Utd - went on sale the other day. On sale to priority ticket holders at present - 900 sold, 1,500 remaining. As soon as these are made available to ST holders, I imagine they'll be snapped up within a day.

In all seriousness George, are you sure it isn't pay on the day? We always say it's all ticket then change it the day or so before.

Either way you'll be fine in the home end, even if you celebrate I doubt anyone will care.

No POTD in the away end because they've been naughty recently.
