Fair enough, wasn't a criticism at all - especially considering our support and how bad it is, home and away. I walked in at 2.55 thinking 'I expected more of them' but it wasn't a bad following either way.

Awful following from us (Bury) today, even when we were shit in league two we used to take 2,000 to Dale (as you should it's 5 miles).

I think a lot of our away followings are going to be poor this season unless something drastically changes. Lee Clark is killing us with his tactics.

Mr Stupidity strikes again this time with made up facts to support his agenda against a manager just four games into a season. I am beginning to think you are a Dale fan now on the WUM along with Burberry.

I think I've seen more posts from you about those two than I have about Bury, King Kev :animatedf:

Still missing AFC Wimbledon @ Fleetwood. Any Wombles/Cod Army got an estimate/programme with the figure in?

Quite a few of ours seem to have given up on the season already, mind you I haven't been to an away game this season so I can't say owt. Strange vibes around the place atm, unless we're right up there this season the numbers will be down on the last few years, we're a fickle bunch.

Massively agree with this. I went last Saturday and our support was even worse than normal. Away games that I would always go to I'll be thinking about twice this season and that's purely down to how quiet and boring our away support is.

Hopefully the performance today can encourage a few more to go next week.

Couldn't agree with you more, I thought valley parade was probably the best home atmosphere in our time down there but you're away support was absolutely awful considering you brought 3k every time. All just sit down in silence all game.

Good noise in the first half but a bit subdued in the second.

And I can't understand why that is, the away atmosphere seems to have got worse as the home as got better in recent years. Or am I just romanticising about the past? (That question is aimed at other City fans)

Probably about 300 Shrews at Priestfield. Normally it's announced but for some reason it wasn't today, nor can I find any sort of figure online yet.

668 Scunthorpe fans in a crowd of 4,055 at Gigg Lane. Good following from them. Clark out.

Some decent followings this week apart from Charlton for whatever reason is total abysmal atm even though they're winning.

That Plymouth following is ridiculous. (In a good way)

It's a great turnout but an unsurprising one as Walsall I think is our 4th closest away game this season!

We're not the biggest travellers as it is but couldn't agree more. It's an abysmal following and not sure why it's that low, Oldham next week maybe a lot more are planning on doing that instead although I doubt it.
But you did bring 990 to us, which is more than Exeter last year.

And we've only had games that are 2 hours plus on the train. We didn't have that many yesterday as the game could have been postponed due to international call ups so not many bothered with the trains.

Absolutely abysmal piss up, miles away, crap train journey and they've played them god knows how many times. I'm not really surprised...

As much as I dislike them, hats off to the Rotherham support at Pompey, good numbers.

Whilst the above excuses for yesterday's following are true, 357 is still desperately poor and I don't know why our last two have been so bad.

Still, Gills is the next away game and we have 2,359 tickets that will sell-out.

Our best following so far tbh even though it's our lowest, I know I wouldn't make that journey on a Sunday especially being on sky was expecting 200 ish to go down.

Went to Oldham last season and atmosphere wasn't that bad. We are becoming a family club so it's par for the course. More old people and kids attending away games = much more mellow support.
