For some reason no figure has been published by Blackpool for our visit yesterday?

We'd sold over 1,400 in advance and loads made their way up to pay on the day. I'd say it was close to 2,000 up there, which is pretty good for a 400+ mile round trip. The total attendance was given as 5,274 so the 2,000 figure sounds about right when looking at their previous home attendances. Shame we didn't start playing until after the first fifteen minutes, by which time we were 2-0 down!

No doubt Blackpool's hierarchy will now post a figure of 1,200 to make it look as if less home fans are boycotting than actually are!
