I feel I need to point out that our airport shut years ago, in case anyone floats that idea again.

We flew down to Newquay for our game at Plymouth years ago, first and only time I've ever gone to a game by air. We lost 2-1 - it was THAT Friio game...

Fun way to do it though!

It was planned to fly to Exeter last time and coaches over to Plymouth if i remember right. Did sound like a good idea at the time if it went through somebody you don't get scammed off.

I remember being tempted at the time but was very uneasy about people just handing over cash to Lee with no receipt. I went to Rochdale from H&H that same season but had already had it in my head that he liked the poker tables up Napolean's on a Saturday night and the whole thing felt uneasy. It's easy in hindsight to say people were stupid (and I agree they were naive), but he's put on half a dozen successful away days so this was just the next step.

As for this footyman clown, on about tickets for the home end and they've only shifted about 1,600 so far. Don't tell him we shifted the 2.1k for Scunny in triple the time or you'll have his whole life details laid out on here.

Which bit is not right? We have sold the Scunny tickets and our tickets went on sale for the game at ours long before the Scunny ones did?

Or was I not at Rochdale?

Don't think I've tried that hard to conceal my identity. So if you know who I am, the manly thing to do would be to reveal your own identity, right? I don't mean DM'ing me.

Rotherham sold out for us then. Just a shame our fans won't bother turning up. This game deserves a 7k crowd but will instead probably get a 5.5k.

Mental having your 4 playing in such close proximity potentially crossing paths at rail stations especially with Leeds fans going via Barnsley aswell. At least us lot will be going via Donny on train so we shouldn't cross paths with anyone.

1400 sold for Blackburn on Saturday. Hopeful of reaching 2000+.

Only thing that could potentially stop that is the fact we have Bury, Rochdale* and Wigan all away in the coming weeks. Hard on the finances to have so many local awaydays consecutively.

*pitch depending.

You don't go via barnsley from Leeds to sheffield on the train, well not if you want to get the quick train which is obviously what everyone will do. There could be a few issues between Leeds and Wednesday fans around sheffield station. However there will be about 5000 police about.

There's the one stopper that goes through Barnsley to Leeds that's not too bad, more likely having a catch up in Chap mind.

Closing in on 6k to MK. Can't wait

Blackburn fans, how many do you think you'll bring next Tuesday? I was hoping to see a full Milton End until I realised it was a weekday fixture..

That's a Monster following to MK should be a cracking day out.
Yeah a bit of a trek for a midweek game, counts me out but i think we've sold around 700 of a 980 allocation.

Think we've sold 700, don't think we'll shift the 980 you've given us but depends on Saturday's result. I'm praying we don't lose, it's gonna be a long old journey back if we do... :bl:

Until you hit the Championship and you become wank again.
new owners coming in along with a class manager... diff story...that championship is actually weaker this season if you take wolves out...average! the way we are playing now with this squad we would be top 10!

What do you expect fans to talk about in an away support thread.
Was just answering to a question posed by a fellow fan.
And yeah fail to go up and our away support will definitely fall, but not by half maybe by a third. And it will still be larger than yours in your unstoppable League 1 winning season.

Which makes it even more embarrassing for you then looking unstoppable being top of the table all through the season and only averaging 800 away with all the Lancashire derbies added to it aswell, shocking!
