new owners coming in along with a class manager... diff story...that championship is actually weaker this season if you take wolves out...average! the way we are playing now with this squad we would be top 10!
Phahahahahahahaha top 10 my ass you'd come straight back down without a fight, just like last season.

We’ve sold 1300 for oxford with over a week to go until the game and only 1 day of general sale. Only a few hundred left. Any chance we’ll get more?

Technically I think this is our third closest away game of the season?! Just the 420 mile round trip or so.

According to your forum the 'hooligan element' will be out for this one, which should add about 12 onto what it would have been.

We do have a set of mongs who only come out for games where we take a big following. Rochdale more often that not, and then we don’t see them again.

You also seem a little obsessed with our forum.

Our allocation at Oxford now sold out (1600 or so?) surely you guys aren’t selling out the home end, or is there a logistical reason as to why the club have said not to expect more?

Logistics, you share a stand with home fans so would need to move them on etc and think it is the max anyway.

I would imagine Oxford have no way of partitioning the other stands, ie concourse and exits. We can offer part of the East stand because we can block the 2 parts off.

How many tickets you got left for our game? no dig or anything but i thought you would have sold out by now.

There may be a tiny increase dependent on the netting between fans but I doubt the Police would go for that in this case.

Spot on as season tickets were sold for the middle section and the club have made the decision they want the players to see home supporters first at the point of coming out of the tunnel. We negotiated with Kassam to put a temporary stand at the Fence End last season even getting planning permission but as usual 'Guardian of the club' Kassam wanted far too much money making it unviable.

How many does the section next to the family stand hold? Not worried about a dig it is what it is, I will be there even if no bugger else turns up

I read the matchday threads on opposition forums a lot, usually quite interesting/funny to see what fans of other teams think. Definitely the latter in this case.

Not quite sure which bit your referring to because theres the away end and then the family stand but the whole away end with both corners in holds 2700 and i believe you have half of both corners which is around 2500 atm so if you get anymore it will be 200 max to fill rest of the corners.

Not sure if Oxford have reduced the away allocation but we had 1810 when we played up there Attendance: 9,510 (1,810 Pompey fans)
I'm sure when we played them prviously we had 2500? not 100% on that but it was defo over 2k.
Whatever its a great following from Argyle imo.

Yes we reduced the away allocation so home fans have the full middle section. We tried to add to the away section as mentioned in my post above, unfortunately our ex owner stopped that.

We deserve to be playing at this level after the awful performances last season caused by the total mismanagement of the club and shambolic training methods.

Why are you going to start getting 20k crowds now when you only once averaged 20k in the Premier League, even though you had large away crowds?
