How did none of Newport, FGR, Exeter, Plymouth or Walsall end up in L1 next season ffs.

Our closest game next season is 72 miles away. Next is 103 miles :ffs:

I think our average was low this season, although we were awful for 90% of it. As JJH said, next season could be our lowest in years unless we are some how a play off team

Found the programme from Rochdale v Wycombe, which I thought I'd lost/left in the pub.

This indicates that Fleetwood brought 205 fans to our gaff, and their average presumably sneaks up from 185 to 186... :)

Looks like Sunderland are limiting both Coventry and Pompey to 1500 tickets this year.

Police want to move the home fixture at St Andrews as well.

All a bit silly.

For what reason

Bit of trouble in both games last season.

Similar thing happened when Portsmouth played up there. Away fans being above the home fans led to smoke bombs being thrown.

Pompey won't need more than 1.5k anyway.

Away in La Manga against St.Mirren Saturday .

Around 10 Posh , 2 Flags & some quite drunk , excluding Kenny Dalgleish & Gordon Strachan who were there .

Disappointing turn out , was about 70-90 in Portugal last pre season though the fact that Forest cancelled & St Mirren were last minute replacements am surprised anyone turned up !

I went a few years back, just after wilder took charge, had a cracking couple of days, did you play at the la manga resort?

We don’t usually get to participate in the willy waving on here, so I couldn’t let this one pass.

Last week Brackley hosted Oxford United. Total crowd - 770. Last night we went to Brackley and made up a crowd of 1,010. Probably about 250>300 Brackley fans there last night and presumably the same against Oxford.

We play Brackley every year. Not a new ground for many of our fans.

Distances: Oxford town centre > Brackley 25 miles. Central Milton Keynes > Brackley 35 miles.

I’ll chalk that up as a first win of the season. :)

Portsmouth have now cancelled our game there on 24th August.
First they changed it to a 12.30 ko, now that's apparently not good enough to suit the police because there's some sort of major festival going in the city.
Portsmouth FC have at least said they will consider requests for reimbursement of travel expenses, but only on a case by case basis.
It really isn't good enough how fans are treated these days.

It looks like our attempt to rattle the Mansfield away fans in the last game of the season is going to be a regular occurrence this year. After taking out a blocks worth of seats from directly behind the goal for the three concerts we've hosted this year, we don't seem to be putting them back in.

They may as well take 15,000 seats out , they'd still be plenty of room & no atmosphere , unless Northampton Saints were playing there !

Not sure what the fuck happened here?!? The Victorious Festival is probably the biggest annual event in Portsmouth and pulls in big crowds. It happens on August Bank Holiday weekend every year. Surely, that weekend is flagged as a "don't play a home game" on the EFL fixture computer? Looks like somebody has royally fucked up and it's the Miller fans that will suffer most.

Does seem weird.

We can't play at home on Lincoln Xmas Market weekend. Sounds like someone forgot to put the fixture request in.

Our first away at Bolton is, unsurprisingly, not on sale yet. That's if they ever will be.

Millers sold out at Wimbledon but only around 900 tickets available so not too surprising for the first game.

Third "local" away friendly in three evenings for us. The better statistic is that there were approximately 2,500 OUFC fans across the three games. I appreciate some of these will be people going to two, or all three, of the games, but would suggest you try doing the same and then we'll compare attendances.

Oh, and that's after us taking over 1,000 to Glasgow the previous Sunday to play Rangers, so it was our fourth game in five days.

Sorry, old chap, no first win of the season for you!
