Our site said that we'd sold 2600 before pay on the day, and our figure yesterday was announced as 2500 odd so somethings gone wrong somewhere either at our end or theirs. Not that it really matters.

I wonder how many will go to Bradford on Tuesday. It's a bitch of a journey on a Tuesday but I hope everybody makes the effort (if they can that is...of course priorities such as families, finance, jobs etc has to come first) because it's not every day you see your team promoted and could be a very worthwhile journey!

It was a good following regardless, only people who would get their knickers in a twist about it are Bradford & Sheffield fans.

My non-football supporting mate was in London for work on Wednesday, and he text me saying "just seen a North End soul sticker in Euston Station, they're fucking everywhere!"
My bag was on a train to London Euston last night, probably still in there - fucking hate that place

I wouldn't pay too much attention to Walkley. He reckons we are the 7th biggest club in the league which is clearly wrong.

We're at least top 5.

Poor followings, except SU.

A shame our promotion party was so far away on a Tuesday night, if it was win or bust more would have gone but couldn't justify it today.

Hats off to the hundred or so Oldham fans tonight. A good way for them to come for a nothing game, and sung throughout.

Coventry are refunding any Oldham tickets after a good number were stuck on the M6 due to someone threatening to jump off a bridge at Corley services.

A bloke near me walked in with no more than five minutes left, having drove from Manchester to watch the City..

Being honest given the conditions of our game distance, previous games up north recently etc over 900 for us is a good effort imo.

I was one of those stuck in the traffic, literally about 2 miles from Corley services when we came to a standstill at half six and didn't move until nearly 9. We were fed up by then so got some food in the services and turned round.

With out sounding biased that's good support for a normal tuesday night away day but you've just won promotion. Any team should be taking 10% of their home gates at least to a game when you can guarantee promotion. Regardless of where it is. Maybe Im the only one that thinks this because I'm blue

If we took about 8% of our home gates ( 450 ) ish. You know you'd slate us and laugh.

450 on a Tuesday night in the Conference for a game 3.5+ hours away would be decent. Not sure why we'd slate and laugh at that. This is pointless though, you'd obviously take 6k  ;)
