Surprised at the low following from Bristol considering the promotion was to be sealed would of expected 2000+ to go that.

I was one of those stuck in the traffic, literally about 2 miles from Corley services when we came to a standstill at half six and didn't move until nearly 9. We were fed up by then so got some food in the services and turned round.

Absolute nightmare. Was there no chance of turning around earlier and going a different way?

Worst thing about that is the fact Corley services are literally 5 minutes away from the Ricoh.

Unfortunately by the time we realised what was going on the motorway was completely blocked. No chance of moving anywhere. Gutted.

Really gutted for you. At least you will get a refund - not that, that means much.

We would've if it was a Saturday game. Tuesday night and such a long distance meant many fans, including me, couldn't make it unfortunately. I was very critical of our numbers at Preston but thought it was a decent effort last night.

aye that's a decent gesture from the club, fair play. I thought a kfc in the services would of cheered me up but it didn't because the wings must of come from Gillian Mckeiths chickens and the gravy was shit.

One of my 'mates' who is a Gashead today was slating our following to me, and I asked him 'how many do you think you'd of taken then mate?' and he replied with 'couple of thousand at least.'

Had to do it - I said 'oh yeah, and then the other couple of thousand locked outside then?' to which he took it well.

He should slate you for your constant misuse of the word of when meaning have.

We have reduced our ticket prices to £10 and £5 for our game against Crewe. Would be decent to see a couple of thousand Crewe turn up at that price.

Won't be "a couple of thousand" should be over 1k though, maybe around what we took for the jpt game tops.

They quite often do to be fair.

They played you once in the jpt final and last season there away support was twice as good as normal due to playing in northampton. In general there away support is fucking wank always has been and always will be.

Always brought around 2000 here, only about 1200 this season but bar that I can't remember them not bringing around 2000 in multiple visits. In fact they travel in similar numbers to yourselves to our place, probably a similar distance as well (without getting my AA map out)

I bet theyve only played you around 4/5 times in the last 10/15 years or so. before that probably 50 years ago. There away support in general in my lifetime has always been wank. But as they say no top 6 finish for 40 years

8 times since 2002 they've visited us, again probably similar to yourselves.

Your following to the Ricoh the last few times has been nothing to shout about.

1600 on a tuesday night
1500 on a saturday
1100 on a tuesday night
1200 on a wednesday night
2500 on a saturday
6000 on a saturday

I believe these figures are roughly correct. Not too shabby in my opinion

Why do you care about our followings to Crewe so much?

Not 2k, wishful thinking, if there is anything riding on the game, like if we win we are safe, lose get relegated, could see us bring about 1200-500, otherwise 800-1000 best bet

Looks like we'll scrape over the 1,000 mark given our last away game is at Bradford. Hooray. Bradford should do too with a couple of localish fixtures. Hooray. Coventry probably won't as City and Crawley don't like to give teams many away tickets. Boo.

The big question (well, in the context of this thread) is though, who will take second place? Preston have 3 games where they should take a couple of thousand to each at least, City only have a lengthy trip to Chesterfield having already won promotion. Think Preston will nick it.
