Plymouth reporting just over 900 tickets sold for Saturday's game at the NYS.
Looking good for over a 1000 so that's a great following given the current circumstances.

Not sure if they've had a surge recently but yesterday Cheltenham had only sold around 50 for Saturday. Expect many might pay on the day.

One of the best supports at this level. They brought 1500 up to us the other year. Top support.

Around 200 to date which needs to be put into context that we sold out our allocation at Bournemouth last weekend and many needed to make a choice. Times is tough. Not helped by the restricted service on the west coast line at weekends and the subsequent lack of any cheap rail tickets.

Sold out in only about three or four days, could have sold a lot more. I thought Cambridge allowed away fans to have part of the side stand too? Presumably, now they're in a higher league for the first time in ages, they are keeping this for home fans?

Interestingly a few posters on Pasoti are a bit disappointed because we have not had a game away for so long, so they thought there would be huge demand. Personally I feel any side in this league taking a thousand to an away game is doing blooming well.
What is the thinking for not having POTD?

Home fans can POTD as they pay a £2 premium for doing so.
They used to sell tickets to away fans from the back of the away end before Covid but no idea now.
The ticket office is open until 7pm tonight to cope with distributing season cards, maybe give them a ring 01709 827768.

I'd be amazed if we'd turned down extra tickets, having sold out so quickly, and with such a demand from our end. Sounds like one of those urban myths that spreads online once one person says something and others repeat it!

So, to clarify, you're not aware that the part of the South Habbin Stand we're talking about is now home fans only? I presumed that you'd decided to make more space for home fans, at the expense of larger away followings, which is fair enough.

Should encourage a few extra hopefully, home ends are selling well too.

I am at a loss here......I and 99% of fellow supporters would have chosen the first league game every time.
Opposition does not matter.
The truth of the matter you are a franchise and have very few loyal fans.... The truth is your fans wanted a day out on the south coast the football was secondary.

I'm assuming you're being sarcastic rather than dumb, but the Bournemouth match was our first competitive game of the season, being R1 of the EFL cup. With all of the anticipation of seeing Russell Martin's team live (ironic really) for most fans, and the starvation of live football, it was always going to be a priority for the majority. It's true that our away following core is around 450 for long trips so Saturday wasn't way out considering the difficulty and expense of getting to Horwich what with the disruption on the West Coast mainline. Due to additional train cancellations on the return, most didn't get back to MK before 10pm.

I've just watched the Williams tackle again on replay and it was as bad as it looked live. There was no way that he was in control and it was a off the ground lunge that clearly caught Jules. The way that your entire team immediately surrounded the ref, they feared the worst. Watch it again without the rose tinted specs.

Otherwise the game wasn't far off as you described inasmuch that it ebbed and flowed with neither team having long periods of control. Typical 1st game of the season really with players getting to know each other. Both teams will be OK this year, but on this showing, neither will be pushing for promotion.

As for the crowds we had 16k on against you and we also have a championship team in the EFL cup who have sold 1200 in Barnsley. I expect a sub 7k crowd because our fans see the league as our bread and butter.
The ref was weak and he was never ever going to give anything controversial. Two clear penalties not given or the blatant free kick on sheehan on the build up to your third goal.
You are a big team and you liked to hand it out but whined when both Bakayoko and Williams give as good as they got.
I think both teams will be ok this season and will win more than they lose.
