Plymouth is a good outing and your away support is well respected. Midland teams, like Oxford, have got it easy for away travel compared to Plymouth. Don't mean to say I like you though lol
Oxford is NOT in the Midlands, it's in the South. Midlands is Birmingham, Nottingham, Wolverhampton etc. We have nothing in common with them.

I thought we would have taken more considering we took nearly 2000 to Rochdale in the last away game before the covid.

It's relatively 'the midlands' and within easier reach of many places than somewhere stuck out on the arse end of nowhere and that's the point he was making.

The AFCW V Bolton attendance was billed as a sell out, so that would be 9,215. But there were empty seats but that could be season ticket/debenture holders being on holiday. So maybe the actual attendance was under 9,000.

Surprised nobody has mentioned our attendance at Cambridge.

Or is there a mistaken perception that it's some sort of derby, or rivalry? As it most certainly isn't. It's just a normal, run of the mill, away game. It's not close either. It's about 100 miles, and a very awkward route. Most people took over 2.5 hours to get there. Also the 1,428 represents a sell out, so could have been more.

Or is there no comment because it's the kind of figure you all expect from a massive club like Oxford?

Officially 995 Ipswich fans at Cheltenham last night.

Probably a few more in the home stands, though not many.

Ooh, look at little Wycombe getting ideas above their station.

You'll always be a non-league club, whichever division you happen to be in. And, as much as you want to be, you are not our rivals; that's Swindon and Reading, it's all to do with history, something you haven't got.

Now get back in your box with the likes of Stevenage, Crawley, and all the other wannabe tin pot clubs.

Exactly.
Wycombe's rivals are Slough.

why is there a bus shelter inside the ground??
Because the stand you were in is having the roof taken off just after Xmas ahead of doubling in size in the summer and home clubs need to offer away fans a certain amount of covered seating.

A reason will still be found to only offer 1500 tickets to GTFC - mind I'm not really sure when we'll play you next...
