I know it’s only up the road but that’s excellent from Morecambe, can’t be far off 50% of their home average.
Actually their home crowds have been really good this season - I don't know whether they do cheap tickets or whether the area has suddenly woken up to their local side now they've achieved League One status.

Our initial allocation was 1100 and then they announced an extra 100 was going on sale and the sold out in minutes. Reckon we could have sold out the whole ground tonight
Wow Ipswich are so big!! Lol.

Around 1200 sold for tonight at Portsmouth.

Not bad considering.

Thankfully South Western have now laid on a train back to Waterloo after the game meaning I will be able to get the last train home from London Bridge aswell.

I gather a further 1700 tickets have been released to Ipswich for our forthcoming match. I everyone turns up we should have 15000+ in the stadium. It will be good to see and hopefully a cracking match.

Indeed, that's 7000 allocated.

We need to beat both Gillingham and Doncaster for the match to mean anything for us, mind.

The Donny lads on here will know better than me but that 9255 figure looks way too high.

I know they just count tickets/season cards purchased not the actual attendance but exactly 6000 Donny fans, really?

The Black Bank looked about 2/3 full but the West and East stand in particular were very sparse.

I was expecting sub 100, so 151 is half decent for us in our position.

Is just over 1,400 the full allocation for Oxford the full allocation this season? Or can we get more?

It’s on tickets sold not those attending I’m assuming as I’ve no evidence to that effect however it certainly didn’t look anywhere near 6000 home fans

Most grounds do that in fairness to make things easier for safety aspects.

We got 1450, more for the home end apparently was the reason given

I don't think Oxford sell out very often and I'm sure Wednesday would have taken 1800 if allocated them. it seems a bit odd they only gave u 1450. I expect the Oxford boys will be posting the reason why.

Its usually a good craic at Oxford but I'm a bit worried that we might get well beaten as we are playing shite atm whilst Oxford seem to be on a bit of a run!

It was their first 10k gate of the season. I think.

Normal away allocation is just under 1,800. Wednesday were given less at the insistence of TV OB, apparently due to issues at previous away games this season. Can't say I agree with it particularly as it just means 350 empty seats, as they're the wrong side of the allocation, so can't be sold to home fans.

Our crowds are increasing at the moment and there will probably only be about 1,000 empty spaces in the home area on Saturday. Away sides used to get half of the North Stand which is just under 2,500, but that was under a previous regime who didn't consider the home fans as much as the current owners. It used to piss off home fans (and one particular (ex Portsmouth) Oxford manager too!) to see such a large away following facing them as the teams ran out. There were one or two occasions where we had sold out our half of the North Stand but could not get any extra tickets, as they'd been allocated to the away team.

League regulations state that away teams are entitled to 10% of capacity, which would be 1,250 in our case, so whether it's 1,400 or 1,800 you're technically getting more than you should. When we played Swindon we restricted them to 1,250 because we could, and because we don't like them!

You're not allowed to point this out to teams with big followings. If they're capable of selling loads more than the allocation then in their eyes you're breaking some kind of unwritten rule.

That's not to accuse anyone on this thread of this - it's just an underlying thing I've noticed when we give away fans just the 1,100 for the stand behind the goal.

Yes, I'd hate to be MK allowing away teams several thousand tickets. Home should mean home.
