Thought Wigan would get more as they are second, Sunderland brought 4700 and season ticket holders were allowed to bring 2 people for free,, Wigan fans were bringing fans of other clubs like Man U/Everton even Sunderland to try and fill the ground, As bad as Blackburn who are in a play off position in the championship, had an offer of £25 for 2 matches and gave 650 tickets away free to kids and still only got just over 14000,

Allocated 3.6k at Gillingham

Not a chance we sell out
Why did they offer you 3600 but us and Sunderland had 2000 and sold it instantly. Strange, but your support is second to none so I wouldn’t be surprised if you sold it

I believe it’s up to the away club to say how many they want? Can’t see any reason why else you wouldn’t have been given the whole stand allocation.

Police orders based on chances of trouble? Bolton/GMP shat themselves when we came to town and only gave us 4k tickets, then gave Sunderland 5.2k later in the season.

I can’t see any reason why Ipswich or Sunderland couldn’t have had the same allocation if they’d asked, plenty of room. Kent Police never really cause much of an issue given we’re the only league team round these parts.

Have the rules around how many away tickets you want changed? Saw something about the away team having to pre-pay but not entirely sure

5,200 allocation won’t be happening again anytime soon after further issues stemming from the home end.

Crewe ticket info released today. We’ve got the side stand and behind the goal - but surely behind the goal holds more than 638?
2,278 full allocation, thought it was more than that.

Nope that's the full allocation

And we won't get the 5.2k that's a bag of wank.

Think it stems from what we call the crazy corner nearest the away end in which the yoof congregate
Think they want to leave that corner unused also the opposite side all fine if we stay in lge1.

Where will they go?

We had 2,500 and that was the whole end and part of the stand on the side.

Brian Moore Stand Prices: (2,850)

Once our allocation has sold out in the Brian Moore Stand, we have an additional allocation in the Gordon Road Stand;

All of the scaffold stand, then down the covered side to the right. I believe they have to sell out the proper away end until the side is opened? Quite possible they’ll have more fans there than us if so…

Edit: yeah sorry as Barrie says above

Yep, that's right.
The Railway End only has about 650 seats.

Went on sale at 10 o’clock this morning, couple of hundred tickets left.

Edit - Scratch that, sold out in 2 and half hours. Decent going.

It was made all ticket for us only 36 hours before the game. A lot of people were going to pay on the day, but this left them no time to get a ticket as they had to be bought by midday on Monday. Pretty shit decision that knocked several hundred off of our following. No idea who is to blame.

I don't think it would have sold out anyway, it probably would have been 1,800/2,000 or so, but midweek games don't seem to get such good followings now (for anyone) and I think iFollow is a factor.

To be fair I don't think Oxford ever sell out at FP do they?

I think the reason it was made all ticket so late was cos the home areas were almost sold out and when that happens they shoe horn extra home fans into the Milton End. Pompey wanted to gauge how many fans you would bring. Once it gets to about 1500 then they have to allocate the whole end to away fans. As it was you had about 1300 so u didn't bring as many as they estimated. As you say Ifollow must have an affect on away travel

FP has reduced capacity due to building work. The joys of having an old undeveloped ground.

If you're interested I thought you looked a goodish side at the beginning and some of the second half. I thought we deserved the win. You'll defo be in the playoffs but I don't think we will be.

We've sold out at your place a few times, and the year when we played you first game of the season (2013/2014 I think?) there was a cock up with the tickets at your end, and one block was double sold. So instead of being 2,500 we actually had 3,000 in there with only 2,500 seats. It was bloody carnage. But from memory, we hadn't played each other for a few seasons at that time, so there was added interest, and I think familiarity breeds contempt to some extent. It was the game where you did the big 'OURS" display and we won 4-1.

We've played you more than any other team in the league, which is interesting as it tells me that we're often in the same division. We'd have definitely sold out if it was a Saturday, or on the original date.

It's interesting that you think we looked decent, as I didn't think we played anywhere near as well as we can, and our defensive absences made us look vulnerable and cost us the game. You've got too much to do I suspect, as not enough teams above you are dropping the points you'd need them to. Have the Cowleys really improved you since they came in? Genuine question, as I'm not so sure.

Oh, and I'd take an old undeveloped ground over our soulless shit hole any day!!!

Apparently there are going in the region of 3,000 ticketless Wednesday fans in Lincoln, be amazed if many have tickets for the home areas.
Have they travelled in these sorts of numbers without ticket elsewhere this season?

Piss up isn't it. Coastal, however grim it is.
I guess! Whatever floats your boat eh, but i really can't think of anything worse. Can't remember the last time I ventured over there.

Just checked and there are 89 tickets in the home ends left for tomorrow (mostly singles), so around 8,400 home fans. Most home fans we've had is 8,700, against Donny we had 8,200 so about what is expected really.

Thanks Barrie! Been seeing stuff for the last week saying you're bringing over way more than you've been allocated, thought it would be.
We don't have the room to accommodate those numbers anyway, the majority of the home areas are full most of time anyway bar the stand behind the other goal.
Our average is 8500 which is astonishing considering we've won 4 out of 18 this season!
