How you doing shifting tickets for Saturday? Expect the 1900 to sell out with how well you are doing!
Be very surprised, that game's flown totally under the radar due to the impending Shrewsbury scrum. I'm giving it miss and doing Pompey the Tuesday before the final weekend instead, as I suspect we'll get promoted that night.

Shrewsbury tickets on sale 9am tomorrow, 1600 odd all in. They'll be gone within 15 minutes I reckon.
Was a stressful 20 minutes as the ticket site unsurprisingly crashed at 9am, but got sorted. Hundreds of folk who went to queue at the ticket office in the pissing rain missed out. Don't know why they thought they'd have more a chance doing that than buying online, but each to their own.

It's nowt to do with sky dictating anything.
Is it not? Well it's even more ridiculous then! Utterly pointless, we're finishing a week earlier than the other two leagues as it.
Wish they'd leave things alone.

Well the bike shed nearest the away end is available to home fans for this fixture, just looked on the seating plan.

Every game has to kick off at the same time so rather than risk going up against the PL the EFL have made made it 12:30pm kick off and gives Sky the chance to show some games if there's still stuff up in the air for promotion, play offs and relegation.

Yeah we've given Wigan the SW as an initial allocation, but clearly they are not close to selling out so bike shed given to home fans.

Great turnout at Charlton last Saturday but that is a bit Scunthorpe like.
There's a real big difference between our weekend and midweek away figures. We've played Crewe, Morecambe, Wigan and Fleetwood away on a Tuesday and all around 250-350 mark. Then 360ish at Ipswich, 450 at Bolton and 1300 at Rotherham. On a Saturday, our smallest following was at Plymouth (339), the rest at least 500+.

Average Midweek - 432. Average Weekend - 1068

I certainly can't justify an early finish on a Tuesday to get to the games, nor can I be arsed to waste my AL. Fair play to all that go!

To be fair the Mackems have further to travel than you plus its your first season in this league. The Mackems support is top class. That's not to say yours isn't too
Yeah agree with the first point just made me laugh reading their forum assuming them would piss it.

Away days ain't cheap either!
Especially when I also don't have a season ticket now.
Home games cost around 50 quid, ticket, getting there, food, drinks etc.
Away games are even more expensive, especially with fuel costs.
Huge admiration for those who go to every game, used to do it but just can't afford now.

Im the opposite, dont't want it to seem snooty, but i can afford every game if i wanted, but id rather spend the money on others things - holidays etc. We've all got a limit, and season ticket plus a handful of away games is enough live football for me a season. I couldn't imagine every weekend being taken up by football! I wouldnt get anything else done!

I think fuel costs will really start hitting numbers for longer away trips now - I had my first ever £100 fill up the other day. Maybe time for this 20 electric coach loads to Kings Lynn?

The cost isn't a problem for me simply because I can't get any at the moment. No bloody diesel anywhere.
I go up on the supporter coaches and the price has increased a lot because of the fuel prices, which is fair enough. However, were it not for that things are getting interesting, and my lad wants to go and I want him to have good memories I might re consider. It is not so much the cost of the travel per se, but as of this month I am paying more NI and my energy bills have pretty much doubled. So I have noticeably less disposable income.

Our website said we had 1,700, which is just shy of half of the whole crowd.

Thanks BE - just checked your website and can see an update on website Wednesday saying 1,600 tickets sold with just over 60 remaining. Then an update yesterday saying tickets sold. So full allocation must be 1,670 ish. Will use that until an actual figure is provided if it ever is!

That would make sense. I suspect our match report was rounding up in the absence of a exact figure from the home side.
