Strangely can't find Argyles number at Cambridge

Obviously I've more chance of finding white dog shit than the official Derby figure at Burton

Might just be me but I’d much rather do barnsley away than MK in that soulless bowl of a stadium. Even though we will only have 2k at Barnsley and 6 or 7k at MK… the former is a proper football ground/club. Something weird about doing MK away every time knowing there’s 5000 home fans in a 30000 stadium. Reminds me a bit of Reading in the sense of tinpottery.
Why are Reading tinpottery?

Showing my age now. I remember when Reading played at Elm park. They get bigger gates now than they did then.

Reading are on of the oldest clubs in England so can hardly be compared to MK who are obviously one of the newest clubs. So to me Reading are not tinpottery

Aye very old traditional club and have the royal standard I believe.

I never got to go to Elm Park but fucking hate that ground they have now

I will contact the bafc police Twitter page.
Guess at 1600. Usual full allocation.
Some derby in home end but no idea on the number.

Derby website states they sold 'just over 1,500'. Originally given 1,408, then earlier this week given a small number of additional tickets to sell ... so gone with 1,510. Doubt we'll find out the true figure.

Cannot find Plymouth's away following as above.

Surprised to see our home attendance hold up today, that's our 100th home league game in a row over 7,000 (excluding Covid)

Saturday 10th December 2022
Bristol Rovers 1-0 Port Vale | 8,264 [591]
Burton Albion 1-1 Derby County | 5,922 [1,510]
Cambridge United 0-0 Plymouth Argyle | 5,546 [1,266]
Exeter City 1-1 Sheffield Wednesday | 7,591 [1,254]
Forest Green Rovers 1-0 Cheltenham Town | 4,077 [1,200]
Ipswich Town 2-1 Peterborough United | 24,849 [1,230]
Lincoln City 0-0 Wycombe Wanderers | 7,536 [239]
MK Dons 1-2 Fleetwood Town | 5,672 [126]
Shrewsbury Town 3-2 Bolton Wanderers | 7,098 [1,622]

Grerat following. Wednesday proving once again they're the biggest boys in this league
Indeed that is an excellent effort from them. I’m sure it’s somewhere on the thread but we also had over 1000 at Exeter I think three weeks ago. For a 12pm kickoff on sky. Might have even got close to selling out in the end. I can’t be bothered to scroll back and look though.

Long old trek from Sheffield/Ipswich. Fair play to the Owls.

Plymouth and Sheffield Wednesday with two big followings there for the distance but also plenty of other big followings yesterday for this division. They might have been relatively local games for all four sides but 1200-1600 from Bolton, Cheltenham, Peterborough and Derby are good efforts.

Fortnight before Christmas, freezing cold, risk of games being frozen off and in a cost of living shitstorm and yet 6 of the 9 away ends in the third tier have 1200+. That’s quite something.

I’m not having 1,230 Boro being classed as a good effort. It’s not that far for them. Plymouth had more at the Abbey yesterday and they wouldn’t even have got home til the next day.

It was 1200 at our place, a great effort

We sold out the 1208 given. Weird as they said we couldn't have any more, yet Sheff Wed had an extra 90 odd.

I think the numbers were fewer because of the Sky cameras. Or something.

In the pizza cup there were 60 MK Dons in a massive total crowd of 864 at the Mem. Our lowest ever home attendance for a competitive fixture!

2700 sold for Hillsborough on 29th December now, closing in on our biggest away league following in two decades. 400 left so not sure if we will get anymore if they go.
