That’s not too bad given I thought it being a night game would have reduced that a fair amount.

Yeah sure we took loads in that Boxing Day win there in 2003ish but I went on a Friday night when it was on TV and was a fraction of the season before.

That said we are a different club now with a much bigger active fanbase, should be a great atmosphere and assume being Xmas time they will have a decent home crowd.

2700 sold for Hillsborough on 29th December now, closing in on our biggest away league following in two decades. 400 left so not sure if we will get anymore if they go.
You won't get anymore.

Bigger than usual, regardless for L1 it will be decent but as in by SWFC standards being the Xmas period.

A Thursday night game won't appeal to our lot, Cambridge on the Sunday will be far bigger.

2700 is an excellent following for vale especially for a night match. I was only expecting us to take 500 when the fixtures were announced in June.

I will be glad when shef wed have been promoted as I don't want any club in this division that doesn't give the away figures out. Pretty much ruins working out the averages for everybody.

Had a good day at Bolton despite the result. Only negative was I couldn't understand why they put us so high up. I went with a disabled friend and had to walk up all those stairs with no lift, shocking for a modern stadium.

Weird that, if a disabled away fan lets the club know, they put them in the lower stand or with the wheelchair fans (if walking distances is an issue)

1460 of us at Southampton on Tuesday night. I know its not a league game, but thats a ridiculous following for an evening game close to Christmas. Not exactly round the corner!
It's a bugger of a journey, when we were in the Premiership, the number of times that match was midweek was amazing....getting home at 2am ish with work the next day isn't my idea of fun
