We’ve only got just over 1k for Fridays game which we’ve sold out, not sure why it’s so low compared to others.

Because you didn't request a bigger allocation

They still have some decent allocations left I think like Vale and Posh
We’ve pretty much all the big allocations to come too. Only had Charlton, Port Vale and yourselves away of the big 7/8 away ends. All of which were 3k bar perhaps Port Vale which was midweek but I think was still over 2k.

MK and Peterborough away ends will be 11k between them for us so that’ll push our numbers up.

We’ve requested a load more though the club haven’t said how many, probably a couple of hundred. Surprising we’ve sold this many for a Friday night game a couple of hours away, I wouldn’t normally us expect to break a thousand.

New ground for most isn’t it? Usually adds a few on.

Yeah but not in the middle of a cost of living crisis and when we’ve served up utter dross for three months. I thought we’d only have about 500-700 there on a Friday night. If it had been a Saturday then I’d have said 1,500 easy.

What should we expect at Hillsborough Monday?

Be around 26k there tonight with Vale selling 3k.

I reckon less than at Derby tomorrow evening even though it’s an afternoon kick off.

Actually scrap that, I’ve just looked on our ticketing page. We’ve been given blocks WU3, WU4 and WU5. We’ve sold out WU3 and WU5, and there are 28 tickets left in WU4.

I don’t think I’m reading our ticketing thing right so prob best to reserve judgement until the day. It looks like we’ve almost sold out WU4 but, whereas WU3 and WU5 were unavailable earlier (and I assumed sold out as was the case with the Derby blocks), WU5 is now on sale and barely sold. I assume WU3 is the same as I believe WU4 to be the middle block.

So yeah, not great. There’s still a few days to go though so still hope of a half decent following. I think my first post of “less than Derby” may end up being more accurate. *shrug*

228 away fans for Cheltenham

EDIT: seems to be a bit of confusion here. Our local journo tweeted 228, on the ifollow commentary they said 228 as well, but apparently the match report says 328 and one lad on our forum claims that was what was announced in the stadium.

Be nice if we could get ourselves up to over a 1000 average away for the whole season. I know that’s not much in comparison to some clubs but would be a good marker for us to reach I feel.

Thanks. Will go with 328 as that figure on both OS's!

Can't believe Cheltenham have returned a load of unsold tickets . Most clubs in this division are always moaning for more. Anyway , have now been sold to home fans.

Poor following from vale today only 423. No surprise that vales 2 lowest afternoon away followings have been at grounds where it's an uncovered away terrace at Bristol rovers and at forest green. Shouldn't be allowed in the football league if you can't even put roofs on stands.
