Poor following from vale today only 423. No surprise that vales 2 lowest afternoon away followings have been at grounds where it's an uncovered away terrace at Bristol rovers and at forest green. Shouldn't be allowed in the football league if you can't even put roofs on stands.
423 is ok, ground we’ve visited 6 years in a row in dreadful conditions days after taking 3100 plus. We’ve taken more before but on a Saturday in August it’s a bit more appealing!

Overall our average must be around 1000?

There is a bit more to it than sticking a roof on ours as it then blocks out part of the pitch for home fans on that side. Its not like we havent been looking for a new stadium site for years either, we are quite aware the current stadium is shit.
Away fans are given an allocation in the south stand (tent) though

Charlton had about 1300 but they created a great atmosphere. Made more noise than Ipswich who had 1600 I believe.

I was going to go to Barnsley today, we've sold 2500 tickets with another 300 (????) pay on the door. So if more then that turn up, are they really going to turn away those extra supporters? as I am sure the away holds over 3000

They'd sold 600 so probably closer to 650

Argyle very quiet on the ticket sales for tomorrow. Folk must be opting for the Ipswich game instead.

Decent effort from us so far with still Bolton, Shrewsbury, Ipswich, Fleetwood and Accrington which should see high followings from us (potentially Charlton if still in the mix at either end).

Hoping for 2-3k at Bolton depending on allocation.

Fair play if you bring 2,000. Other than Ipswich and Pompey, we’ve not really got anyone else left this season who will bring 1,000+.

With it being midweek I doubt we’ll take many to Ipswich. It’s a bitch of a journey to do then which is why I was a bit surprised they brought a high amount to VP (suppose being top of the league helps though).

New ground, Easter Holidays may help though.

Bolton should be a big one, we took 3k to Sheffield on a Thursday and used to take 2k Bury. Only played there in a league game once in recent times outside of Covid and had 1500 despite being dog shit that season.

Notice Morecambe is all ticket as well. Nice if we can keep the over 1k average and a sign of progress off the field if we can.

Not sure if this should be on here or the FA cup thread so I posted on both.

Had a good craic at Spurs. Theyve got a fantastic ground but no atmosphere. Its light years ahead of FP I preferred the old WHL though

I got to mention our support. 12;30 KO no trains but managed to take nearly 9k..

Yep and 1,400 is all you’ll get at ours too, understand that’s sold out already.
Chaos this morning. Nobody expected it to make general sale which it didn’t. But it didn’t even make season ticket holders. And some gold card holders at 10:01 couldn’t get a ticket. 1400 sold out in less than a minute.
