Chaos this morning. Nobody expected it to make general sale which it didn’t. But it didn’t even make season ticket holders. And some gold card holders at 10:01 couldn’t get a ticket. 1400 sold out in less than a minute.
Fleetwood on the final day could be fun!

Like that midweek column. Some belting averages there, fair play.

Yeah thought it was an interesting perspective as always thought our figures are a lot lower midweek. To the established clubs its makes no difference Sheff Wed, Ipswich etc, but even Bolton much lower midweek. Of course depends on location of midweek games, but especially with costs going up, to have to take time off work etc, theres some hardy souls out there!!

That's a 0.78 positive correlation between average home fans and current league position, which I think a stato would regard as strong. Portsmouth currently bottom of that table (4th highest attendance vs 13th in the EFL2 table), Wycombe top (18th vs 7th).

So no-one likes coming to The Kassam Stadium?

Think what it's like for us, we have to play at the shithole every game.
I've been the kassam stadium with vale 5 times and we have lost everytime so I will be never going there ever again.

Surprised Cambridge and Accrington haven't had an evening home game this season yet Charlton and Plymouth have had six!

It's a small sample size for our midweek games but that kinda looks like what I've always thought in that our attendances don't really fluctuate too much between Saturday and Tuesday games.

Is that just the number of home fans at the game or does it include away fans aswell as I thought vales average was around 8000.
Home only, shows the growth better than we are pulling in 7000 plus home fans a game now. That’s a good 1500-2000 up on 12 months ago and well up on our last time at this level.

The family orientation that Carol has turned the club into is incredible.

Also worth noting unlike a lot of clubs our figures are actual fans who turn up whereas a lot record attendances on tickets sold inc ST holders even if they don’t attend

Yeah, and when looking at home fans overall, its the smallest range between midweek and weekend games.

They were (we had bigger gates for the last few home games last season) but for a change we managed to hook them!

A lot who’s been lost under poor ownership in the past couple of decades came to them and we’ve found some of that lost fan base again.

It's good to see positive ownership grabbing a club by balls and drag them backbup, as much as I take the piss, the same for Bolton.

That's a bit unexpected, given the time of year, (and the opposition..). Looking forward to it, not least potentially to see our new starters in action, just hope it won't be a replay of the home fixture.

I seem to recall our away attendance at SJP last season (for a game that while 0-0 was a cracking piece of entertainment) was unusually low - as well as it still being (the very end of) the school holidays, seemingly loads of fans got stuck behind a pile-up on the M5 and in the end gave up any hope of trying to reach Devon on time.

I'd be surprised if we don't bring in the region of 400, maybe more..
