Honestly think it helped get us over the line that game. Great decision to switch ends. Bycars attracts families and old blokes nowadays. Noise doesn't travel well from there and the paddock too. Hamil End in that play off was immense. The switch can't come soon enough.

100% best atmosphere I have seen at VP aside from the 7-1 against Burton, I was in the Paddock down the Hamil End and the noise was superb, I couldn't even hear the Swindon fans in the Bycars (and I am sure they were singing) but the noise doesn't travel from that stand like it does the Hamil.

The move will be a huge boost, Bycars still holds a decent enough allocation 2500-3000 I believe and cures the Disabled stand issue of away fans being the opposite side to the disabled supporters of the away team which has been raised a few times.

Plus then the policing is easier and the away fans car park is to be a huge fan zone.

Have to back the Vale fans up to be honest, Derby by far the best fans to visit Whaddon Road this season.

For that very reason... The Hamil should be a home end and will be from next season.

Numbers wise they were good but were the definition of sing when they're winning. For the noise made, and the fact they carried on even when losing, Derby were far far better.

Aye it was about that time TWOY first came around for us. Still 30 years later and a huge percentage of our fanbase get the words wrong to it even now but it’s become a tradition in itself

After the Newcastle (non) crush story allocations in the Leppings Lane End will like be reduced - even though the stand holds 6,600 and there were only 4500 Geordies there. Look at footage at their celebrations at St Mary's the other night and tell me which looked the most dangerous?
