Good going for a team who haven’t won away since New Years Day. Missing this one myself in favour of Charlton away on Saturday.

We've apparently sold 720 in advance of our game at Reading tomorrow - not bad for little Cheltenham on a Tuesday night

Blackpool tickets sold out so 2000 Valiants. Great support again on the road despite awful away form.
Guessing we didn't take up the option on the other half of the stand. Wouldn't have sold out so guessing we'd be charged for unsold tickets. Makes sense if so, but frustrating there will be empty seats on our side that people can't make a last minute decision go the game.

Don't get that anymore. Blackpool players and staff apparently moaned about not liking having away fans the length of the pitch and it giving away teams an advantage so that's your lot now.

Fair enough. 2k is a good number. Glad we play there on a Tuesday, if it was a weekend we'd have had a lot more disappointed Vale fans. Always take a good number up there.

Fk me PV have taken over from Sunderland as the most massive away support in L1

Derby only given us a thousand for the early kick off game on Sky in a few weeks? Are they running some sort of promotion?

I'd understand if their was an arrogance about the posts we make, or some outlandish ridiculous statement, like we'd take 4k, which would be nonsense. But all I effectively said was, more would have wanted to go at the weekend, so given the capacity was capped at just under 2k (which I said was a good number) more of our fans would have been disappointed. Was I wrong? Do Pompey take more fans away for midweek games than at the weekend?

Wonder if our half decent away support has blown away a few misconceptions about us being some tinpot outfit, and it's rubbing a few on here up the wrong way. Apologies if so.

I thought there was a lower limit on away allocations (like 10% or something).

Yeah more than i thought. Believe we had pre sold over 550 so a lot of people deciding on the day. Been once, got other grounds higher up on my list to attend this season.

Not the easiest of trips either on a school night

Exeter had 530. About what I expected even though the Exeter fan who posts reckoned theyd be nearer a 1000. Theyre like PV only a little club so not bad really

Makes me laugh that Reading aren’t giving out attendances, obviously don’t want their sub-10k crowds being acknowledged.
