Perhaps not the right thread for this, but Sheff U have announced prices for their home leg in the Play-offs. £12 for ST holders and £15 for others.

Excellent pricing, hopefully we'll do something similar (although I HIGHLY doubt it)

Only way they'll fill the ground mate, that's not a swipe at them, it's just their record in them is so shit.

15k v Yeovil in 2013
21k v Stevenage in 2012.

It will be our lowest crowd of the season im guessing even with those prices.

Fantastic effort that, well done, arguably the 'following' of the season for this division.
I wouldn't call it the following of the season. Don't get me wrong it's very good numbers, but a win will gain them promotion. It's arguably there biggest game in many years. In comparison, we took 3k to Wycombe away when we went up and we are much smaller than Preston

That wasn't at 12:15 on a Sunday though, it's a great following

Considering the early kick off and lack of transport options, ie it's a fůcking pisser to get to Colchester from anywhere ne'er mind the North West, it is.

Vale to Wycombe isn't that difficult a journey is it?

Seriously? Granted your form in the play offs isn't great but why would you get a lower crowd in the play offs then say you would for a normal league game against Crewe?

Forgot it was a Sunday and 12.15 to be fair! Who doesn't enjoy a bank holiday piss up though?

People just don't go. Its embarassing to be honest hardly fills the team with confidence with no one turning up. That yeovil crowd what walkley posted was our lowest that year and the stevenage one well we played them 2 weeks earlier and there was 30k there. Also if we get swindon we will take 1.5k away max or mk or pne will be 2k. And if we get to wembley again we will be outnumbered by any of them 3.

Can't understand the logic from your fans on that whatsoever. Do your fans want to get out of this pissing league or what?!

Sold 2.2k already according to Bobs Board which I'm surprised at.

Yeah, and 1300 more sent with no in-person general sale yet. I thought we'd sell the 3k easy enough, but other people's comments caused me to doubt myself. Not bad for a glorified friendly we aren't sure we want to win.

Really?

Arguably the biggest game in Preston's history for years, everything at stake - surely you'd expect them to sell it out?

Ok - I take into a count the lack of transportation and early kick-off etc, but if I were in Preston's situation I'd bust a bollock to get to a game like that..

A great effort, admittedly, but 'following' of the season in this division?

You mean like the Bradford game when you took 900?

Different circumstances - we knew we were going to get Promoted, be it that game or any of the remaining ones - it had been in the bags for weeks, arguably months.

Preston's whole season comes down to this - everything is riding on it.

Far, far bigger game than ours at Bradford.

It's also a lot harder to get to. It's on Sunday at 12:15. No way of getting there unless you want to drive or pay £28 for the coach or stay over and spend £43 like I am doing.

I'm not saying it's the best following but I can't think of a better one of the top of my head, thank fuck. (Cos that would be incredibly sad)

3,200 is an incredible effort, it would be more if they would give us more tickets, we had people queuing this morning who didn't get tickets.

Our 5,000 at MK was pretty good - but admittedly under completely different circumstances.

It's a massive game for your lot - I fully expected you to sell out whatever you got given to be honest.

Would be interesting to see how many we would take if the allocation was bigger.

Opinions vary, but in my humble one it is the best, regardless of promotion or not.

They were always gna sell out i said that last week. Everyone turns out for potential promotion games. We took 7500 to palace ffs on a sunday morning with no trains.

Yes i know. My point is that everyone turns out regardless of division. We also took 6k to mk dons the other year which was a sell out at that time. And that wasnt due to a new ground cos wed already been there

What is? In your opinion
Just having a little gander on the away table and these are all better:

5000 plus BC at MK
5000 plus SU at Barnsley
3000 SU at Notts on a Tuesday
500 SU at Yeovil on a Tuesday

And thats only looking at 2 clubs.

Taking 3000 for a promotion decider isn't up there.
