Mate you had a chance of reaching the PL not the bloody second tier.
It's still reaching a division that Preston have struggled to get out of for 3/4 successive years.

I don't care what division you're going into - everyone's up for a possibly promotion party, regardless of whether you're possibly going into L2, like Non-League Bristol Rovers, or potentially going into the Premier League.

Just having a little gander on the away table and these are all better:

5000 plus BC at MK
5000 plus SU at Barnsley
3000 SU at Notts on a Tuesday
500 SU at Yeovil on a Tuesday

And thats only looking at 2 clubs.

Taking 3000 for a promotion decider isn't up there.
The 5,000 SU at Barnsley was expected IMO - much like this one.

You could jump and land in Barnsley from Sheffield, and with it being a big PO clash at the time - I expected they'd take big numbers.

But - the two Tuesday night followings - superb, very impressive.

I'd say Sheff Utd taking 3k an hour down the road is pretty standard for them.

This is a bit of a lame debate mind, with the way ticket sales have gone, if we were given more tickets then we would have shifted 4k easily.

Agree barnsley was expected. Notts county was pretty good for us on a tuesday to say weve only ever been in the playoffs and yeovil was probably about standard to be honest. We dont take less than 500 very often theres been a few occasions dont get me wrong.

Lets call it a draw then us at county you at mk and pne at colchester.

Rightly so in my mind - so much riding on the game, and any Preston fan who isn't up for going - even with the hassle of getting there etc, is an idiot.

I'm not having a dig at all if it comes across that way - I think it's a very good following, but I just think there have been better - although you have sold all you can, and as you said, you would have carried on selling more.

For the 3,200 Preston fans that go to the hassle of getting down to Colchester - I'm sure they'll all be reaping the rewards at 2:00.

Notts County have sold their 1400 allocation, so we've given them another (and final) 654 tickets

On the basis of how quickly the 1,400 sold this morning, we should shift the last 600 no problem at all.

Interesting debate on the PNE numbers this sunday. We took 6000 to Brighton and thats not bullshit either considering we only get 5000 crowds now, promotion or relegation deciders are always huge turn out look at Notts County at Gills this weekend, nobody takes more than 800 there normally. Following of the season is a bit of a claim to make but yes it is decent and a hell of a journey , i went in November and vowed never again now the ground is ticked off, 8 hours driving for 90 minutes but when promotion is at stake you simply got to be there whether it,s a sunday dinner or a Tuesday night.

Because we have fans too.

and your fans will sell out the rest of the stadium...?

I'm outraged. Seeing as this is the last game of the season and there's a long break till our next game I'm choosing to be outraged by this, it's a disgrace. Just a theory but I think you're worried about being embarrassed like Oldham were when the Magpie Army rolled into town and took-over their pitch invasion.

Fans will turn out for a massive game where promotion or relegation is riding on the result.

Well we don't have as poor crowds as Oldham in general for a start - it's very feasible that the crowd will be 10k plus on sunday. I'm not saying we'll sell out, but the club is giving our fans the priority to buy tickets, which is correct. I assume Notts had a part to play in the allocations requested as well? We also don't pitch invade unless we've actually won something.

Those Oldham fans look happy!

There may be 3000 seats, but planning conditions restrict the capacity of the Brian More Stand and a certain number are lost to segregation, so 2054 tickets is your lot.

Shame that one of our biggest games in years is at Crawley. 1600 is a small allocation, but will be a big percentage of the overall crowd.

1600 is more than you've averaged in years...

When have you had big games?

A big game for us counts as a relegation battle at Crawley town, or a JPT area final.
Embarrassing... right.:err:

Really is a huge game Sunday. Depressingly, one of the biggest in modern history.
