Their away followings to us over the last few seasons have probably averaged about 200 if you're lucky.

Our last 2 away games in the league have been Sheff Utd. Add that to player sales over the summer and peoples appetite for today just won't have been there, mine for sure. Surprised there was over 2000 there in the end to be honest.

And post in our threads all you like, but a couple of your yellow brethren do seem intent on coming across as quite moronic though.

We've sold our first 1000 for Walsall. An extra 600 tickets are going on sale tomorrow.

Why are Walsall giving us tickets in such a slow dribble? We'd easily sell over twice what we have at the moment but they keep giving us them in small batches.

Looks like they open up most of the side stand to the home support. Chance are we will only get 1900 or so.

We have clamped down on being so free with away tickets after being punished by the FA a couple of times recently after incidents when we let the away team have the entire stand. It also used to be very easy to pitch invade in our away end for goals. We have since put a small barricade in meaning what used to be a 2,000 away end now has 3 or 4 entire rows missing - so 1,600 is probably the entire end. Depending on costs/police I suspect you may get about a third, perhaps half of the side stand - probably another 400-900 depending. Personally, I'd give you close to 3.5k, charge you £28 and take as much as possible, lol.

(No offence to any set of fans paying large away prices, but when a big following is in town and it's a tight ship -you have to be ruthless).

Yep, was far better under the stand and in the pubs beforehand, everyone gets in ground bar about 200 stood it was dire. Our militant sit in your correct seat, and sit on your hands clan was our in force I imagine. Felt for the few that paid on the day and got shoved in lower tier when the upper wasn't full, made no sense at all.

Hopefully but i doubt that very much. Train gets in about 5pm so a good bit of drinking time before the match then hopefully another decent performance

I will be honest, it took me a while to build up the courage . Have had a browse on the site a few times whenever we have played each other and there are some interesting comments!
